It was sad that they were turned away from the puppy training classes. Much of the frustration and financial costs would have been avoided if they were guided to a trainer like Victoria in those early stages. Thank you for reaching out to a professional like Victoria and now you can enjoy your beautiful dogs together. ❤

I like that the show has gone back to the original British format. More down to earth and straight forward. More about the animals and less about all the family drama. I'm here for the dogs, don't give a rat's about the people lol.

Yeah the American families are insane on here. I think sometimes they needed their dogs taken. And most of them put 0 thought into getting a dog. Too many Americans get dogs as accessories or to look tough. That leads to trouble

Like night and day! Not a fan of the US episodes either.

I enjoy the UK shows because the people are more mannerly, letting Victoria help them and their dog without yelling and awful behavior.

I only saw the US version years ago... just recently found the British version and yeah I prefer this version over the US, it's all about the drama it seems in the US than to sort out the issues with the dogs, but UK seems more focused on the dogs which I quite love...

Their other dog is just like the one kid in some families on Supernanny that you see so little of, you forget they exist until there’s another short clip of them 😅

I really appreciate how often this couple just admitted they don’t know instead of nervously making excuses. We can’t just know things, it’s okay to not know! That’s why they went to Victoria!

A Lurcher is bred to do a job. Archy got into trouble while bored. Victoria showed his owners how a two point leash would transform walking Archy, teaching him to focus. Archy loves his games of chase and running which uses his drive and high energy. The gate has curbed the some unwanted behavior. What a difference in Archy, making him a wonderful family member!

That really wouldn’t help since Archie’s humping comes from playful frustration 🤷🏼♀️
@sabrinavasiliadis14267 ай бұрын
I'm a big advocate for fixing your pets, but while humping is much more common in unneutered dogs, some dogs still do it after. It's possible Archie is neutered, but still had the habit.

I just watch this show here and there but it’s kind of alarming how many dogs on this show are brought into the home as puppies as opposed to being rescues who came into the home as an adult. That really shows how much of a human issue it is than a dog issue

Any tips on putting a leash on a dog that hates it?
@camisnyder34608 ай бұрын
In one episode Victoria showed the dog the leash then gave him a treat over and over then put the leash on and gave the dog a treat. Takes many attempts and patience but it worked!!!
@blissfuljoy60498 ай бұрын
@@camisnyder3460 thank you for the tip. I should try that. Part of our problem is that the puppy is just too excited and nippy. Almost like she doesn't know what she wants.
@sabrinavasiliadis14267 ай бұрын
@@blissfuljoy6049 Try waiting until she's calm to put the leash on if she's just too excited. If she starts to nip again, stop and wait again until she's calm. Rinse and repeat. Eventually she'll learn that if she's calm, she gets to be leashed and leave the house.
