If you take your pet to work, they shouldn't be roaming if they aren't well trained. My Breton spaniel had to come with me to work when she was a pup (I'm a teacher) and she was in my classroom in her bed and taught to only come off when I called her, when she needed food or water, or to play near my desk.

This episode highlights the power of patience and positive training for a high-energy dog like Bertie. 🐶 It’s inspiring to see how the right techniques not only transform a dog's behavior but also strengthen the bond between owner and pet. 💕

I am absolutely shocked that this dog was allowed at this woman's work more than a day. And the damage to the office furniture‽ I would never allow that from my staff. Dogs need to be told NO (boundaries, rules, limitations) then be redirected to a positive behaviour. You can't let a dog get away with such bad behaviour by being passive. Dogs need leadership!

Could you make a new playlist with the episode's from when the show started up again after 2021? I have a bit of a hard time keeping track of what Iäve watched with the way you're posting sometimes

The audacity of taking your untrained dog to work and making him your co-workers problem. I love pets but this is outrageous. What happened to doggy daycare or a pet sitter?
@sreid305Ай бұрын
I honestly think a alot of pet owners dont understand what a harness is intended for.
@nancymesekАй бұрын
No kidding. I’d have him on a slip lead. The owners are the problem. They feel sorry for his past life and now he rules the house.

For pulling!
@sreid305Ай бұрын
@JoannaVancouver 90% of dogs need to taught not to pull on lead. Leads are an adversive to a dog preventing them from doing what want. Harnesses just no communication to an untrained dog. puppies have to come off harness around 6 months old

De hond is verveelt, te veel energie (zowel lichamelijk als geestelijk) en de hond heeft geen regels en grenzen. Kortom ze hadden geen hond moeten nemen.

👀It's mind blowing that with shows like this & especially The Dog Whisperer there are still these kind of owners.

It's an interesting video, but I don’t see why the coworkers have to be trained on how to accomodate the dog or why the office has to be turned into an enrichment playground for him.

Agreed. It's absolutely ridiculous that her co-workers were expected to put up with that.
@angelinacamacho8575Ай бұрын
pretty sure that was for the show

@@angelinacamacho8575 Considering the dog has been allowed to run amuck and damage office furniture already, maybe it's not just for the show.

The owner is obviously fine with it. They must value her contribution to the job and the staff want or don’t mind a doggo

2 seconds in....why is this dog in a harness? He uses that harness exactly what it is intended for...pulling.
@christineleonard1110Ай бұрын
A Harness is good. It' takes pressure off the throat.
@MacMyaaАй бұрын
Since the dog is like how they are, they most likely would've done the same thing on a collar leash which would've been more harmful.
@ChallieWallieАй бұрын
@@christineleonard1110 there are other types of leashes than just a collar and pull harness. Victoria often recommended harnesses with the leash connection on the chest or those head collars, that go around the nozzle.
