Martin your luck is unique. Testing, trying, experimenting is what fishing is about. When you find what's right for you, job done. 🐸❤

Yep, also I need to find what I'm comfortable with, singularly important, and it doesn't necessarily have to be right.

Evening Martin, one small criticism, I think you have the Bombarda float upside down. Used the Bombarda surface fishing for Carp with great success. Love how you like to try different things in your fishing

I have tried the float both ways, but find for me this way, it doesn't tangle as often. Thank you Paul.

The sizes are on the blades of mepps . I think they start at 00 being the smallest then 0 then 1 etc.
@TheAutisticAngler3 жыл бұрын
Ok thank you, I'll have a look

It says Mepps then underneath 0 then Aglio, so I guess it's a 0 then 😁

@@TheAutisticAngler Yes that's it . Size 2 are excellent for freshwater perch and easier to cast as they have a bit more weight to them.

Nice one Martin, great seeing try all these methods 👍👍 May I suggest something, if you like the Mepps why not invest in an LRF setup, not expensive, something like the Shakespeare Agility or similar ? You will be able to cast the same distance or further. Just an idea Martin 👍👍

lol, Thanks Pat, i've just bought an HTO lrf rod to replace the one i broke.

Hi, first of all learn how to use the bombarda, it must be mounted backwards! The straw must be mounted towards the top of the barrel!!!!
@TheAutisticAngler3 ай бұрын
I've tried both but have found with the tube under the weight i get less tangles. If it is above the weight then it serves no purpose that i can see.
