Kyniaos and Tiro seems like a really fun commander in that same four-color combination! Group card draw "hug" without giving them mana to use those cards with- so they have answers for each others' combos and threats but no mana to instantly go off with- and then ways to close out the game using their huge hands against them, like Folio of Fancies (or maybe just Approach if you want to be safer)

I suggest Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis. Similar colors with Omnath, but you can practically build the deck in whatever direction you want. They are extremely flexible as commanders. F.e. I have built mine to a "massively sacrifice lands and massively return them from the gy" theme succesfully.

I also tried omnath for a while, but it just wasn't doing what I hoped for the kolaid man. Ended up converting it into a Pako and Haldan lands deck which is a lot smoother to play in my opinion. Pako's pressure combined with an excess of exiled lands to always play makes for a solid landfall deck.

@@vitorroberto8694 yeah, but otherwise, we’re limited to partners, that one batch (i think c16) of precon face commanders, or rule-zeroing the nephalim into your command zone. Thats partners plus 5 plus rule zero and i think at this point we we need to see more options.

Saskia aggressive politics! Play with monarchy stuff, goad/forced combat stuff, incentivize attacks against opponents, give them tokens with the Hunted cycle, use Saskia as a finisher. It's a fun build!

Didn't the omnath player not do a whole lot of his triggers? Like shouldn't he have been able to tap his opponents stuff alot with retreat to coral, play more lands/draw with risen reef when it came in and every other elemental came into play under his controll?

I've been played omnath since it was gruul, it was my first edh and my main now. I love triggers and it's a powerhouse if you build it value oriented (I personally don't like elemental oriented) when the engine is on it only lacks a way to end games quickly.

Sorry you didn't like four-color Omnath. It feels a bit like a "Tour de Landfall" deck but I like it. My version centers around combos with Kodama, token generators, and bounce lands. Another four-color Commander I'd like to play would be Breya.

My omnath is filled with every fetch land and token creators. With omnath you get big mana spells out very fast. Scute swarm is a must, field of the dead is a must, i also threw in Heliod and waking balista as a back up win con when games go to long.

Its a shame that you aren't liking your Omnath. In terms of other 4 colour commanders, I have been loving Yidris lately. You can either make a big mana deck to get 2 big spells for the price of one, or a cascade deck to chain cascade triggers and get a bunch of stuff for free! Nothing excites me more than casting Apex Devastator with a bonus Yidris cascade trigger :)

I took my 4c omnath deck apart after the 3rd time playing it. I don't have any 4c deck now. I would be interested in trying the stranger things 4c combinations though.

If you're looking to stay in the same colors I think Sidar and Ludevic seems fun as a 4 color Edric deck.

Dont change from omnath, i really want to see more of him. Having a look at your decklist i can see only a few impactfull spells and only a few win cons. Maybe change your strategy from infinit to impact. I see one of Omnath big features in big mana and there are several interesting spells for that. Also i like cheat into play as a theme, as you can play several big creatures in the deck. Consider Defense of the heart, Tooth and nail and wild pair. I would love to share my list.

Yawgmoth put in some serious work this game. I feel like your Omnath deck is a bit heavy on elementals, where I don't think 4 color om wants to be a tribal deck. I run a lot more landfall synergies comparatively, and I think it works out better from what I've seen in pods

Agreed. I think I would be better suited changing it to Temur Omnath elemental tribal, or going back to Horde of Notions 5c tribal.

Wasn't the loop optional? He had to decide to flash the creatures in again. Afaik the rules say he has to declare how many times he wants to repeat the loop and it will not end in a draw unless he can't end the loop.

omnath is meant to be played as copy deck, you copy omnath as many as possible and then use his trigger effects multiple times. opponents will lose because they will lose 4 life multiplied by how many omnath you have on the field.

Omnath, Locus of Creation gets super out of control very quickly if built right. Mine is a terror at my LGS. If you want a deck list to try out let me know, I have it posted on a few sites.
