@Garl_Vinland Жыл бұрын
@@alexstoltz1520 If Kozilek attacked Krenko, Andrew would just sacrifice some meaningless goblin tokens. It was way more valuable to hit the other players who valued every permanent they had. Tokens counter edicts.

Why was frank worried about getting ill will? He’s playing eldrazi and there’s a freaking goblin deck at the table which he could have set back at least a turn. Instead he rAnDoMlY attacks the least threatening opponent at the table. I don’t get it. Not to mention the goblin deck is at 40 life... Edit: This is not meant to bash or hate. Everyone has their own play styles and it’s easy to judge when we’re sitting here, no table-talk context and no insight into what their play group is really like. I personally don’t believe in random attack rolls (unless the card says so) but of course other people are going to play differently and have fun doing so
@Slack-3R4 жыл бұрын

As a fellow Kozilek player, I have to be mean if I want to win. If I go easy, I'm targeted and focused out. If I go hard, I'm targeted and focused out. Might as well fuck shit up if I'm going to be Archenemy.
@corhydrae32384 жыл бұрын
Rolling the dice to determine a target for that is a meaningless try to absolve yourself of responsibility. But you're still responsible for the outcome since you chose to leave it to chance. I only roll the dice when I'm attacking with a turn 1 1/1 into an empty board or something, but not with a fat eldrazi.
@alexstoltz15204 жыл бұрын
Just commented something similar. You do not let a player with full life and a board state just sit back while you attack the guy missing land drops without any creatures out!
@stol52514 жыл бұрын
Honestly Frank deserved to lose that for that extremely poor threat assessment and lets be real, rolling dice to see who you attack is a cop out.
@gdiridium55254 жыл бұрын
rolling dice is acceptable if it's turn two and you're swinging a llanowar elves because you dont have anything to spend the mana on. It should absolutely not be acceptable if you're swing something as impactful as Ulamog. I can see this game going a lot differently had frank used his head and not his dice

Can a charitable soul tell me how does that vial ikra win combo worked?? Thx!! Awesome game too!
@MTGMuddstah4 жыл бұрын
Basically it's a combination of cards. Most often it involves the transformed Primal Wellspring which allows him to get two copies of a spell. He'll typically use it to cast Rude Awakening or Mana Geyser to get a ton of mana. Trevor will often then use Seasons Past to return what he needs from the yard. The final piece of the combo is a tutor to allow him to go and find the Seasons Past again, since it puts itself on the bottom of his library. Once he has enough mana, he'll cast a giant X spell to kill the table. I hope that helps!
