Hair feeling out of sorts? Check out how Nicole from our PR team shows her locks some serious TLC with this deep-conditioning routine!
Nicole knows healthy hair starts at the roots, so she begins her deep conditioning hair routine with Superbalm Scalp Treatment. This deep-cleansing ointment soothes and calms irritation while removing buildup of flaky or dry skin from the scalp. Next, Nicole uses Roots Hair Treatment. This minty wonder revitalizes the scalp and softens hair with olive oil and honey. Nicole follows up with H’Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment. This intensely moisturizing treatment loads locks up with protein-rich eggs, fresh avocado and shine-enhancing balsamic vinegar. When it’s time to wash, Nicole reaches for Avocado Co-wash. This gentle formula is roughly 80 percent conditioner and 20 percent shampoo-a blend that gives hair a weightlessly clean feeling without stripping away naturally beneficial oils. When it’s time to style, Queen Bee Hair Honey locks in moisture and keeps hair looking flawless, while Shine So Bright Split End Treatment leaves tresses shiny and hydrated.

Will Lush be featuring ladies with kinkier hair patterns? Your hair is lovely but it would be nice to see how these products work on type 4 / kinky curly hair. I’m a kinky curly who loves LUSH and I would love to purchase products for my hair.

So far, I've tried R&B, and it has kept my hair soft on Third day hair, instead of turning brittle and in need of moisture. I bought curly wurly to try on my curls next!

Quick question; the wax you use on your Co Wash Bars, will it have a negative effect on my hair or is it different from candle wax?
@LUSH
@LUSH 5 жыл бұрын
Hey Pauline! The red wax is there to help the product hold its shape. It shouldn't have a negative effect on your hair but you're welcome to remove it before using the solid shampoo!

You say avocado co wash doesn't strip your hair it oils but sodium laureth sulfate is an ingredient and it's sad because I adore avocado co wash but I can't rlly use it *Edit: I think there are other ways to achieve the smooth and creamy consistency but personally (I know that not everyone agrees) all i care about when it comes to what i put in my hair is the smell, how actually good it is for my hair and my end results, and the consistency doesn't matter all that much. Sulfates dont cause cancer, dont irritate the scalp in most cases, but they do strip the hair of natural oils which can be problematic for curlies like me because curls are always asking for moisture. So like I said, I still refuse to use this as frequently as I'd like because I love the results but I dont like the ingredients. But dont worry because I LOVE LOVE LURVE lush's other products. I use herbalism, grease lightning, tea tree toner, imperialis and want to marry avobath. So thank you for making all those products great lush! Still though puh-lease do something about those sulfates in most of your solid shampoos. Thanks!

We're so sorry to hear Avocado Co-Wash didn't work out for you. We added sodium laureth sulfate as a surfactant to create a rich and creamy lather but it is not the first ingredient. This solid shampoo is made with a base of fair trade organic cocoa butter, lavender flower and nettle infusion, fresh avocado, and cupuacu butter.

H’suan wen hwa is great, but why you add a very dangerous ingredient like sodium lauryl sulfate lush? It would be better without it. You can use decyl glucoside instead. Its better

We use sodium lauryl sulfate as a surfactant in our products to create a rich and creamy lather which is something we are not able to find in nature. Lush has always used the best nature has to offer in combination with low amounts of safe synthetic ingredients in order to create super-effective products. The ingredients that we use adhere to strict guidelines from organizations like the FDA and Health Canada. We choose to use sodium laureth sulfate as a surfactant is that it has a long-standing history of being safe for human use, especially when being washed off the body. This is why you will find it things that are generally fairly cleansing for the skin and hair.

I was wondering why you use some ingredients like sls, it is not good for us and the planet. Please make your cosmetics more good for the environment and for us without those kind of ingredients.

Lush has always had the environment on its mind. We set out on a mission to make cruelty-free products from ethically sourced ingredients from all around the world. We choose all of our ingredients very carefully and stick to ingredients with a long safety record and history of use. We use SLS as a surfactant in our products to create a rich and creamy lather which is something we are not able to find in nature.
