Thank you for this video! I've been wanting to try a new shampoo bar for a while now. I have fine straight thin blonde hair that tends to get oily quickly. I was every other day and switch shampoos regularly so I don't have build up. Godiva was the first bar I tried and I remember it being just okay. It smelled sooo good. Sadly it melted even though I kept it in a tin. Jumping Juniper was only okay (don't leave it on the side of your tub, it will leave a stain) but of the 3, Jason & the Argan Oil is my FAVORITE and I highly recommend it to everyone, I sometimes don't need conditioner after using it! I want to try Fly Away Hair, Coconut Rice Cake, Soak and Float (for husband as well) & Seanik.

@@diginwithmashi I ended up trying the angel hair shampoo bar and the American cream conditioner bar. While it did smell super good and made my hair very soft, it basically got rid of all volume and my hair would be super oily by day 2. I ended up switching back to Pantene volume shampoo/ conditioner so I can atleast last three days of not washing and have some volume back. If u find anything that works great pls let me know and I’ll do the same!!

Thing to bear in mind - Seanik doesn’t soften the hair. Makes it a little bit dry and is suitable for summer (as one’s sweating a lot!). I have short straight hair and this one’s pain in the ass in the winter months.

I’m going off to be a camp counselor this summer and I think a shampoo bar would be so much easier for carrying back and forth in my shower caddy! I either want to try coconut rice cake (smelled it in the store and it was just gorgeous) or soak and float! I’m hoping that one smells kind of like breath of god which is my favorite scent ever

I am loving this, and I would love to get some ideas for improving my hair care routine. I have very fine hair and I do use a brown semi-permanent hair dye on my naturally medium to dark blonde hair. I have pretty healthy hair that I wash 3 to 4 times a week, although my scalp is pretty sensitive and irritable. Right now I use Rehab and Veganese (which I love), but I would love to try some other products that will help my hair colour lasting longer. Only thing is that the conditioner would probably need to be lightweight enough to not weigh down my fine hair too much. Love your videos, and I would love to see more videos like this one. And btw, even though I am Norwegian I occasionally order from England so I don't mind it if you recommend some exclusives that I can't get in Norway. Looking forward to the next video, hope you have a great week.

Have you tried soak and float for your scalp? Perfect for fleaky, irritated skin :) Candy rain for sure !! Possibly BIG, although the sea salt could strip the hair colour a tiny bit, but for the scalp and volume it would be UNREAL! :)

if you live in the uk how can you use shampoo bars with hard water? I like the new shampoo but it doesn't work very well with my water, and doesn't remove minerals. However, I decided to only use sulfates once a month. i also have curly hair and i live in portugal :D
@charmer633 жыл бұрын
Hey! Not in the uk, but I dealt with hard water for several years... unfortunately I found almost all of Lush shampoo bars have SLS. As someone with wavy, colored hair that was a no go. I did find a bar made by Love Beauty Planet that worked well! Not sure if it’s available outside the US but hope this helps!
@NataNyan953 жыл бұрын
@@charmer63 yes I know thank you for the warning tho! Now I use a low poo and a chelating shampoo👌
@melodycollis3 жыл бұрын
Hard water is water that contains dissolved minerals whereas water containing less dissolved minerals is known as soft water. Everywhere in the world can have either or a mix of the two. Where I am, the water is harder, and I have never had an issue at all!
@NataNyan953 жыл бұрын
@@DanaCristianaAgent no, its diferent like melody said. I can say from my own experience that very curly hair suffers more with hard water than straight or wavy hair. It will also depend on people! The shampoo bar+ sulfates + hard water = badly washed hair that ends up with build up on the scalp. Sulphates only remove creams and butters, they do not remove minerals. However, if you have moderate or soft water, you will not have these problems and the shampoos will work perfectly! You can check that tho xD . Now I only have a liquid shampoo from lush the fairly trade honey, I only use it sometimes tho.
@NataNyan953 жыл бұрын
@@melodycollis are you sure you have no problems with hard water? I used lush shampoos the new one, the wasabi and the honey I washed my hair were my favorites. I've used sulfate shampoos all my life and washed my hair with hard water. But my hair gradually started to fall, I had problems with build up on the scalp and the ends were extremely dry and damaged ... I realized these problems and started using a chelating shampoo with EDTA (without sulfates) twice a month. Made all the difference. Also use a shampoo for curly hair from shea moisture and some styling products from the brand camile rose I swear changed my hair! 💓😯 now it grows faster and I no longer have hair loss. In Portugal in the south there is a lot of hard water and in the north there is soft water😂 I live in the south 😅 I just want to help, but everyone can do whatever they want. if it works with you it's fine!
