Getting on a horse, no saddle and just crank down 63 acres of trails. It’s the best feeling especially if you and the horse are connected. I almost fell off on a corner and my horse threw her head to the side I was going over on and saved me from falling. A good horse that you are connected to becomes a friendship

As a fellow parent, I can 100% confirm that Bluey is the best kids show right now. Sometimes I'll put it on for my 3 year old daughter and then she loses interest and is onto the next thing but I'll just sit and continue to watch Bluey for awhile by myself because its just funny and relatable and promotes a healthy nuclear family and doesn't make the dad out to be a bumbling oaf or incapable of taking care of his own children, which is really nice to see in todays world. Plus, it's just genuinely funny and a good time for everyone involved

Bob Sagat was always blue humor. Him and his buddy had a bet to see who can clear a room faster. Once he got the AFHV gig, he always won because people would show up and thought he was wholesome. He also only took the gig because of his dying sister.

I recall watching Bob in an HBO special of his own when I was a teen and being so surprised by how funny he was (after only watching AFHV) and home blue he worked. So funny! I'm a huge fan of stand up and used to sneak out of my room as a young (beginning at 11 or so) and watching Carlin. So if after watching all of George's work I still found Bob funny, he was doing it right. 😂

The day Sega Dreamcast came out, our 10 yr old son wanted it so bad and was having a day minor surgery that morning. We did get it for him to play as he recovered, but first, my husband and I grabbed an old Pong game, from the 70s, which my parents had stored in our basement. Pong was like the first video game ever and so boring. We gave it to him, saying we got Pong instead, then set it up to the tv and played with him. He tried to appear grateful as he watched the one green square ball just travel back and forth on the screen in the stupidest game ever made. Then after a few games we pulled out the brand new Dreamcast and gave it to him. Mom and dad needed to have some fun too! 🤣🤣

It was def a bit more than a “bump”, it was blunt force trauma (skull & orbital fractures, hematomas & hemorrhages) resulting from a blow to the back of his head, we’ll never know the full extent of what happened tho bcuz the truth about the scene and investigatory details were sealed due to the permanent injunction. I personally have a feeling there was def more to the story, I just don’t see how injuries that extensive ((especially a full 3 layers of blood accumulations in the back of the skull… 1) in the deep subgaleal layer between the scalp & skull. 2) in the subarachnoid space surrounding the brain & down into the deeper folds. 3) in the subdural space on the surface of the brain.)) could be possible on a carpeted hotel room floor with a fall being the mechanism of injury, since the medical examiner stated that all of the hard surfaces in his room were ruled out as impact possibilities for the blunt force trauma he sustained. I remember reading all I could about his death at the time bcuz watching his shows was such a part of my family’s evenings for over a decade, and I just couldn’t wrap my head around what they were claiming had happened to him, along with fact that I was grieving the loss of my husband who passed 3 weeks after Mr. Saget & was about the same age as him. Then all the secrecy surrounding the investigation, and the ME’s refusal to elaborate on his explanation that falling on the carpet “may have caused the injuries”. I thought it was all kind of weird imho. Like how do fall flat on your back with that much force w/o bracing yourself or turning at all, unless you’re completely blitzed? There were no illicit drugs on board, but they refused to reveal whether there was alcohol or prescription drugs that could’ve contributed. And they never proved that it was completely impossible for someone to have entered thru the adjoining room’s unlocked door. It’s certainly a mystery, and the judge made sure the public will never know all the details or even a plausible hypothesis 🤷🏼‍♀️

When I was a kid and Nintendo first came out, my grandparents bought us one but all we got was the box with an IOU inside taped to a weight... turns out they got addicted 'testing' it and then used it as a gimmick to get us to visit more often. We did get one a few months later, but I will say it was quite fun having grandparents that loved gaming just as much as us kids. My grandma got so good dr.mario and tetris would crash, I didn't even know that was something record worthy at the time.

1:42 I had to do the rabies vaccine in 2014 because I got bit by a bat and didn’t think long enough to capture it to be tested. I had to do four rounds of injections over a 6-8 week period, the first round had 9 injections. 2 in each thigh/hip, two in each arm then a final one in a “arm” of my choosing! Then tapered down with each round over the 6 weeks. It was not fun. I went with my sister who is a nurse for the first round and they had my lie on the floor and hold me down. All I can remember how big the needles were and how much the injections in the thighs/hip hurt! More then likely the bat didn’t have anything but because I didn’t keep it to be tested I had to go through the treatment. I was protected against any other attempt for 5 years though.

I'm sure it falls under minor character flaw, I think he has a need to appear like he knows things and has big ideas, but sometimes it weeks be better to not talk, especially when he's explaining something I think she already knows or cuts her off. It doesn't improve the show in any way. Maybe you can say it's part of what makes him human. But she is definitely a co-host of this show at this point, that should be accepted. I really enjoy his other show, but that's all his.

As to what to tell kids, I subscribe to my mother's philosophy. If they're old enough to ask the question, they're old enough for an age appropriate answer. Just make sure you understand the question. When my oldest brother was in kindergarten, he asked where he came from. My mom carefully prepared an answer, with textbooks and pictures, then brought it up. "Remember when you asked where you came from?" My brother said, " Yeah! Mark comes from June! Where did I?" My mom: "...January."

Im going to assume that they actually gave that kid the game and were just messing with him. Which is still a little messed up. But if they actually just gave him the box as a joke that's actually cruel. But where would they get the box if they didn't buy the game? I don't think many parents would be that cruel. And God yes, Christmas a kid was fantastic. I have very special memories, we had a kind of different Christmas then most people, in a unique room that we only used at Christmas time (we had a big Victorian house). It was mostly unheated, and the smell of that carpet and the tree, the cool air, the lights and the excitement of the presents, it's still very evocative for me.

My old cats used to bring chipmunks and other small critters like mice, birds, snakes, etc. in the house all the time. Once they left a chipmunk in the master bathroom completely disemboweled. It was a disaster... but the one I'm thinking of was a fully intact alive chipmunk. It got loose in my room at the time. It took about an hour and the room was completely torn apart trying to wrangle that sucker. 10/10 would not recommend. 9:10 Leon, dawg, the paint color is almost the same shade as your shirt. I'm just saying.

My cat would bring me baby rabbits. The first time it was about 2 AM. Every hear a baby rabbit scream? I literally leapt out of bed! Scared the HELL outta me! LOL I miss that kitty, she was 19 when she passed, R.I.P. Molly.

@@estibon3872 My current cat has a very lengthy list of baby rabbit kills, I think she's up to a dozen by now. I remember one time I spotted one in my front yard, she was out there but hadn't noticed it yet. Once she did it was game on. It took a lot of effort to keep her pinned to the ground while trying to scare the rabbit away, she was pissed. I don't think it mattered because there was a dead one on my back steps the next day.

@@cd5sircoupe Wow, you got a wide selection! I only got rabbits and the occasional bird. I haven't seen any rabbits in the neighborhood so i think they decided to move to less dangerous territory! The hunting ability cats posses is amazing!

@@estibon3872 Oh yeah, I've got a pretty packed roster of wildlife around here, just nothing exclusive to the west coast since I'm in the northeast. But I mean whatever you can generally think of I've got in the area. I think my cat might've taken out all the rabbits directly around my house. I'll have to keep an eye out in the coming days/weeks as the weather gets nicer. I remember a time I was hanging out in my driveway with a friend bullshitting one night. We were standing close to this bush, it's a kind of super tall grass or something, it can get up to 8-10ft high. Anyway, all of a sudden she bursts out of the bush almost at eye level with a freshly caught yellow Finch that she promptly ended. Nearly plowed right into me. She's between 12-14 now, we're not exactly sure but that's where the vet put her at. She ran away from people who moved down the street back in 2018, apparently after the move she hated her owners (I found them in about 2021 and spoke with them, they're cool). The cat posted up on our property and wouldn't leave that summer, so we just decided to take her in six years ago.

3:39 I was obviously aware of the process before this point, but we were shown a close up and very detailed birthing video in high school health class and it legitimately scarred me. It was like my IRL version of The Ring, but instead of a black and white picture of a well, it was a crowning baby’s head taking up the entire screen in full color on a big CRT tv strapped to a wheelie cart. Like, that video still lives in the same little memory bank in the back of my brain as the “middle eastern heads falling off” videos I saw back in the day. I don’t have any kids, but best believe I’m going to be very much on the safe side of the blast shield when the day comes…

When my sister was little, she wanted an easy bake oven. When she opened her present she saw the box it came in only to open it and contained a few rolls of T.P. She got upset of course. I did take a picture of my sister and her friends toilet paper our mom. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
