Thank you for this! The biggest obstacle I'm currently facing is having lustful/impure thoughts. I recently prayed and asked God to help me get rid of these thoughts and desires, and what's amazing is that I came across your channel and then found these videos. I think it ties perfectly with what you said in the 14:00 mark. I really needed to hear this and I thank you for it! 🙏

Oh wow that is great to read! Once you embark on that journey and have the Holy spirit within you, I feel like your desires just oddly change- you get a distaste for the sin, and then when it creeps up again you may not be perfect in fighting it but you feel more strength to do so and that strength gets stronger over time. God is aware of our weaknesses and when you're truly sick of the sin He is ready to aid in the journey of giving it up. Problem is people try to "fight it" when they still want it and not actually ready to change... When you're tired of it i believe is when God steps in and helps. Also what you feed yourself tends to be what you crave more and more. It is helpful to protect your gates for sure as not to open the door for lustful imaginations to get all conjured up but I also believe when we want something bad enough even if its not good for us, we will find loopholes to get it. Thats why the power/grace of God working within us is so imperative to change. I believe since you are praying and embarking on that journey that God will meet you with grace and help right where you are at. I will also pray for you! We can do next to nothing on our own power but the grace of God and His spirit within is what transforms us. :)
