2 years sober and with Jesus. Same about 1 year haven't listen to any secular music - very few secular shows and movies and my youtube algorithm has completely changed. To be completely honest - before sober and with Jesus I would be on your channel just to lust after you for your physical looks. That's where sin and addiction takes you to! The gutter. I think you've developed a good character (are developing?). That said, lust and the like are part of the nature of animals while as humans we have the capacity to control the instincts of the flesh. Where a lot if people get lost is in youth and lack of experience. Some are overcome by the seeking of pleasure over the seeking of truth, etc. Some seem fine seeking both, but often invole those who have not yet come to understand the value in truth, etc. Sometimes they find it later in their lives and sometimes they never find it. We're all guides and followers simultaneously, though not every guide wants to lead you towards a peace life, a good outcome, or heaven. Pop culture has misguided many. Look at the results of the popularization of gangster rap and the many children (now adults) who couldn't tell the difference between getting to a good and healthy life and the fallout of drugs, promiscuous sex and violence. Either way, the rappers got paid. And strangely, those same communities were Very different a generation before.
