I agree that was last Sunday when I recorded that video I had just watch the Luther Vandross documentary the day before and I got up and turn it on Spotify and I just started listening to all that good music as I was you know doing my chores and laundry you know all those kind of things I can listen to that music pretty much in the car and every place all this week and then I’m a music girl I listen to music all the time so you’re absolutely right the 80s and 90s if that will the 70s and 80s we just had amazing music you’re my people do you understand so I’m gonna need you here on this candle stick around your wonderful have a fantastic day be blessed

You know that Music was amazing. This was last Sunday morning. I’m looking at this video now. I don’t have a stitch of make up on. I was doing housework and cleaning and I just jumped on kiss camera but yes, I was excited when I made that video of him. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I'm 66, My very first Concert i went to was at The Forum in Inglewood California in 1972, it was Al Green and Love & Happiness was the hit record then, Like you mention, Everyone who was who was there, in their Taylor made fits, enjoying the evening, as Al Green, The Spinner's , and The Sylvers, entertain us with their Smooth Sounds. gone are the Days of Romantic Music

My first concert I’m a 16 year-old girl My friend Mark Pinkley has the tickets. The show is at the Chicago theater. We’re on the third row literately These are amazing seats. I am spoiled right from the beginning it’s to see Patti LaBelle and P Funk and the funkadelic‘s .This thing was amazing it was so while Patti LaBelle was with the group and they had these huge platform boots glasses and and crazy hair and then when funkadelic‘s come out, they come out in a spaceship, and they have costumes to this thing was wild, I was entertained be on my wildest dreams. I was hooked on concert right from the start.

Please Listen to the song Luther did called ‘sensitivity’. I used to take very late midnight drives on Fridays with a friend of mine at the time cruising through the suburbs on the ‘dark moonlight’ back roads listening to Jazz CD101.9 FM radio. Just going nowhere getting lost no destination in mind, stopping only for a snack and gas at one of those all night convenience gas stations. I would drive singing to the music while she rested comfortably reclined back in the passenger seat and covered in a light blanket with her shoes off just falling off to sleep and humming the music, particularly with Luther Vandros in the air. We always found a way back home somehow. Early Saturday mornings we stopped at any ‘eateries’ and have breakfast then head on back home. Those were wonderful moments👍😇.

We were blessed our music was amazing. It was cross generational you could listen and you know your parents were listening to the same music and it was just beautiful. I was just grooving as I was doing laundry and cleaning this morning and just planning for my upcoming week. Good music just energizes me. I was excited I didn’t even put myself together before recording. I was just like I’m just gonna jump on KZbin now. 😊😊

Hey Bertha sis how are you girl? I really thought I answered this message long ago. I’m not sure why it’s showing up as an antique but in any event you have amazing children. They still buy concert tickets for you. That is wonderful. My daughter has never been a concert corps it has never been her thing I can remember when she was in her early 20s taking her to a couple concerts. I just don’t think she likes the huge crowds to this day her and her husband that’s just something they really don’t do sound Unfortunately yeah they never buy me concert tickets but you’re very very blessed to have such wonderful children who spoil you in such a special way

I am55 and I remember in the 70s and 80s how concerts were a huge deal in NYC. My brother was heavy into EWF and Stephanie Mills. My first concert was seeing Confunction and other bands, I don’t remember who else. Those were the days.😊

Bertha, you got some really good kids! I got to tell you my daughter was never really a concert kind of a person never she still isn’t The few concerts that she’s been to. I took her to myself so that’s not something that she indulgences me in. I have to struggle and try and figure out a way to get my own concert tickets. It’s because I love live entertainment. i’ve been addicted to live entertainment for since the beginning so now I do a lot of blues clubs comedy clubs because I just like the energy of the talent and the people.
