You guys started me on this theological journey. I now consider myself Reformed but I have so much love for y'all.

In my opinion Huff did a good job answering JR's questions. JR comes across to me as a seeker. I listen to him for the people he talks to. Pray for JR. There are several secular folks who are seeking or who are new to the faith.

All he seemed to do was lie about Joseph Smith the whole time. It was the equivalent of saying Catholics are nothing but a child-molesting religion.

Bravo brothers. Thrilling to know God is loving JR through Huff AND you three. May the Holy Spirit do His marvelous work on JR and many who will listen. God grant it.

Getting to watch/listen to anyone having a discussion about Jesus is always a positive. Rogan is like many... varied interests with no core value that is not worldly first. Science is the rule, not anything that is "spiritual" and non-repeatable. I gained from watching Rogan and Huff. A well read man who is also taught to work in the critical thinking realm is too well prepared to falter in his presentations. Huff seems to live out his belief with all the abilities needed to stand for the faith regardless of his age. Thanks for taking time to discuss this with caution and understanding. Again, it is wonderful to listen to a conversation from the Rogan show that was not filled with acrimony. Two reasonable men discussing Jesus!!

I loved the discussion ..,A small error is Huff repeated that “400” people saw Jesus when the bible says, “Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:6 ESV)

Yes and the exact match between the Isaiah scroll and Masoretic text was a tad overstated. Thanks for listening to the episode.

I have not finished the Rogan video. But think of the possibilities of the numbers of people who have been presented with a practical, non-confrontatial "expose" of true Christianity. While we can desire other aspects could have been covered more completely, overall I heard all 3 of you commend the job Wesley Huff did in the format and the time he was given. From what I heard you say, the most important question was asked to Joe Rogan. It is also the most important question for all who have and will listen to that video and to you and to me. "What do you think of Jesus?"

Long time listener here. This is the first time I've seen your faces... it is quite jarring.

The most viewed presentation of the Gospel - really ? The most viewed presentation of the Gospel IS THE BIBLE . Oh yes , and it’s been viewed thousands and thousands more times than the miserable 3 million of Joe Rogan . Do you not think !??

Why so full of anger bro
@youaregodspursuit-4714 күн бұрын
@@pragmaticoptimist46 Agreed, whence cometh the anger? It was a discussion and so similar to a kitchen table talk that we could listen to. God did not cause the Bible to be only read in the learning of the Gospel without commentary and explanation. No one could read the Bible in the dark ages... 95% of the people alive then could not read or write or do complicated math. How did anyone learn anything of the Bible (right or wrong) without hearing what was there? Have you forgotten that faith comes from hearing the words of the Bible out loud... that takes people to say these words. No where are we told to throw the Scriptures down and demand that some one read it for themselves if they are not a believer. Why do you seem to ignore that what Paul always did was reduce things to conversation and teaching and quoting Scripture. Even the Bereans listened and then went to Scripture... you may want to reconsider your understanding of what the Bible is and what it is to be used for.

Out of the entire discussion, this is what you came away with? Okay, I guess.

While what you say is true. When was the last time you have had 3 million people sit down for 3 hours + to read the Bible or even their favorite cartoon?
