That first breath of the video, I thought he was about to go Billy Mays on us... only to be pleasantly surprised by an almost ASMR voice lol. Also, I have this switch. It's nice!

It doesn't shut all the way when I press the down button on the sunnata

And it shouldn't. These dimmers, mostly because they are designed to work with LED and not just indecent, are designed to only go down to like around 10%. So you shouldn't expect them to work the same way that your old dimmers work. If you want it off, don't dim it off just switch it off. 👍 So glad to help! Thank you for watching. Thanks for the video! I have the Sunnata dimmer and the area i want to use it actually has three different places to switch them on and off. Can i still use this dimmer?
@AroundTheHome12 жыл бұрын
If you have three positions then that is a four way switch. To my knowledge this switch is only designed to be up to a three way switch, which is used to work 2 locations. I would suggest contacting Lutron and seeing if there is a way to use this switch as a four way or if they have a four way option.

Quick question for ya, so the box for the dimmer says 150w and I want to install it for my chandelier which has 5 led bulbs, each at 40w (200w in total); would I be able to install this dimmer still?
@AroundTheHome12 жыл бұрын
I think you mean that your LED's are 40 watt replacement bulbs that are probably actually only pulling 7 watts. I know light bulbs are confusing these days, but if your LEDs were actually using 40 watts then it would probably be the equivalent to a 500 watt spot light. If I am correct here then your chandelier is fine and so is the dimmer.

Programming?
@AroundTheHome13 жыл бұрын
There is no programming on the standard Sunnata. I know they have a few models that can tie to smart devices, but this model I show here does not.

Thanks for your video, great explanation, although you missed the point of programming the dimmer …. Look at the video’s of Lutron for further information .

Unfortunately that's a lower end Maestro dimmer. The Sunnata dimmer is cool but very limited for multi locations (3 or more). Great video for DIY.
