Shodsn is a great knife! It was slightly too big for my personal taste so I sold it but the fit and finish and design was too notch.

The detent isn't an issue on my example at all. I was worried going into the purchase but I can tell you confidently that it's not any issue once the knife is fully broken in. The knife ran slightly rough when I first got it but that's common for all new knives I buy. Added oil and the next day it was literally perfect. Detent ball was dry too. Also common. No issue. The detent is plenty strong on mine! In fact, it's fricken perfect and I'm incredibly picky about light detents. Maybe my example is different ?

i liked the anax but sold mine... didn't care much for the carbon fiber insert, seemed like a weird pattern plus weren't they supposed to come out with the satin blade version? Good knife otherwise!

I wanted this knife so bad 3 years ago. All that was available then was $1600 used customs on the secondary channels. Broke down and bought the better of the two Cinese copies Greenthorn was making. Very faithfully copy - same jimping, same 6-pin hardware, same useless rat-tail that was way too pokey for EDC - which is what I bought it for. This $300 Greethorn ANAX is in S35VN and Titanium and is also an integral. It actually has a strong detent. Anyway, guess it's time to make amends and get a real Microtech Anax made by Rike. In Chins...

Bro i know this is old. You can. But you have to be so carefull. Take the overtravel stop out and every so slightly bend the lockbar back. But if you go to far since its an integral you can f it up
