True heaven is here on Earth. It's when you sing music like this with friends you love. It's when singers and audience come together to share the beauty of the Universe. That is heaven.

I sang this piece last semester and this semester we're singing Go Lovely Rose. Eric Whitacre is possibly the greatest choral writer of our time. My choir was invited to sing at Moaning Caverns in California and we're bringing back Lux for it.

I like to watch the other video to this because it shows the faces of all the people that sang. You can even catch a smile or to from them. It makes me happy to see that they enjoyed making this come together.

I loved do this song with my high schoo varsity choir my jr. year last year along whith his song Cloudburst and this year Lux Aeterna and now we're learning his song With a Lily in Your Hand. I love that Mrs. Menger gives us pieces by Mr. Whitacre, I think it's the reason I sing, because his songs don't only speak to my heart as I sing they speaks to my vocal cords and I "Tyrell, tell EVERYONE this tail so others that don't understand can see the wonders of this world that can't be seen.

Eric Whitacre is one influence as to why I joined choir. Last year they sang Seal Lullaby and Sleep. Today, I received Lux Arumque, and I should be getting a Boy and a Girl soon. Today my teacher was explaining, "Eric Whitacre is a famous composer known for-" Me: "Being awesome." Teacher: "Using chord clusters." Also I feel it's necessary that there is a paper in the room with several pictures of Whitacre, titled "Inspiration for the Choir Ladies". It's been there since last year. :P

@SonicEther Music is a small glimpse into God's glory, as He gave us music to praise Him. As beautiful as this is (and it is stunningly beautiful), it can't even come close to the beauty of everything in heaven, especially music, so this is definitely a glimse of heaven, if only the slightest glimpse we could ever see here on this earth.

Ooh, trippy! Seriously though, more classical works need a visual component like this. The motif for the album is so beautiful that it opens this new world of media to play in for Eric's stuff. I wonder if the next albums will continue this theme or go with something else. It'd be nice to see some sort of carry-over, whether it be the colors, or the setting, or something.
