Does anyone have any more information regarding this? It looks like the movie that this radio production was based on is a last silent film. Somewhat ironic… Does anyone have any idea aside from the assumption of what happens… I would love to read a script. Marion Davies is a unique character in film history. I just finished reading her biography.

I think it is more likely this was based on the 1931 version of the film, rather than the 1919 silent film. Both are based on the 1916 or 1917 play by Maude Fulton.

@@OTRR OK! Good to know. It’s funny that the Wikipedia entry didn’t mention the 1931 film. The same year as two great Universal classics! I think I found a copy of the film. I’m gonna watch it and hopefully it follows the similar plot as the radio production.
