I wasn't expecting that response for brands you hate because I though I was the only person who felt that way about Celine and givenchy!! I hated the mini luggage from the moment I first saw it but for whatever reason purchased one last year, wore it once in 6 months, and sold it!! I almost got sucked into the Antigona craze as well but thank God I stopped myself because I never liked it to begin with and knew I was going to regret it. I must say I love Saint Laurent though, even though financially the Sac De Jour isn't an investment, it's a classic shape and style that I'll be wearing 20 years down the road!! Omg, you are so right about the Celine bags and especially about the Drew bag by Chloe. Everybody got it because of a fiew bloggers (who got it for free anyway)and now it's already kind of going out of style.I feel like the new Drew bag is the Gucci Dionysus. Everybody got it in like less than a month and I am sure that there is some serious sponsorship behind this. The lambskin they use now is sooo delicate, the bags look worn so quickly. I have friends whose boy bags look absolutely horrible after about 3 years and not even being used daily. Chanel bags used to last a lifetime. I carry mine very rarely because I have others that I prefer, but I feel they'll have to change the leather eventually and the bags with leather they're using now won't be desirable. It's not something I'm actively worried about because I probably won't sell them anyway, but it's something I think about. Plus they've had what seems like a bunch of QC issues. What do you think, does that make sense?

I don't like buying just timeless pieces. I don't think it's necessary to like a bag till the end of times, I also don't buy things for investment reasons. If you want to invest in things, it's probably better to just trade or buy gold or something (not diamonds, they lose value instantly). Just enjoy your things while you like them!

How do you think of Furla purses? Their prices of it are affordable, specially when they goes on sales 50%. Their materials are good, soft leather. If they go old or bad Just donate them, or trash them, and don’t feel like wasting that much money . Once we died we cannot bring them with us anyway. You are right about Chloe, Givenchy...... i saw Givenchy in TJMax about over 10 years ago, the price was only $50 for a Givenchy purse, now their purses prices are sky high. I don’t buy Chloe, Givenchy......just like what you mentioned. I appreciated your advices on those high prices products and they don’t last well after a while. You are right.

Very interesting info Sophie! The only thing I’d disagree with is Chloe is great in costume jewelry. I’ve bought a ‘Love’ ring and a ‘Chloe’ cuff bracelet about a year ago and gold has not faded at all. I wear them all the time and surprised how hard wearing they’ve been. Get compliments all the time. Got both on a really good sale. No opinion on their handbags since I’ve never owned one.

Love your video. I remember the first time I saw sac de jour when it just released few years back, it reminded me of Birkin straightaway, then it immediately off from my radar. Recently I heard other youtubers mentioned it as "cheaper" version of Birkin, then I realized that i was not the only one felt that way. This design might be more than successfully on profit wise, but imho, as a premier designers brand, it started with failure when they needed to be inspired from other premier designers on art wise. Comes to be one of the top lux brand in the world, they need to do something better than that.

I have to agree about Chloe..that brand has never stuck out to me. I will have to investigate Celine's transformation regarding their leather goods since their TK Maxx days. I have to say that I loved Celine's ready to wear around 1987, a lot of Rene Russo's wardrobe in Thomas Crown Affair was from Celine and I think that the Celine "Nano" and "Paris" are cute.The YSL classic clutch with the gold chain tassel is the only one that really appeals to me at all, but I see it a lot !! I'm glad that you spoke about Ebay, I have had friends suggest using it to buy/sell things but it never sat well with me.

Céline is one of the hottest brands right now as it represents a whole new aesthetic and perseption that reflects the worldwide trends ("new femininity", etc.), whereas Christian Louboutin is totally opposite, even old-fashioned to a certain point, etc. But it seems like if we're speaking about investment, it's totally different! Overhyped handbag brands for me are: Chloe, Celine, Givenchy and Prada/Miu Miu (a bit under the radar now but the quality just not worth the price tag). Brands like Versace, Valentino or even Marni are actually putting out good quality and great design bags and under appreciated.

Ive dealt with/am dealing with clinical depression for 10 years now. I had started therapy (individual and group) and I had taken some different medications. But honestly, the thing that helped me the most is running. I still have a lot of struggles but once I started running, it adds something for you to look forward to in your week, and you just feel great after - I know it sounds silly but I would honestly give it a try

Hey. I run in the early evenings 2x/wk and morning 1x/wk. I started running with a company called the running room in Canada. Basically you go out in groups and run - and just talk about your day while running. The others keep you accountable and you form a network. If I run alone I do listen to music yes. My runs usually last 30-40 minutes. Started off running 1 minute walking 2 minutes and repeating that 7 times. Now I run 10 walk 1, 3-4 times. I highly recommend finding a group to run with. Had it not been for the social aspect of the group I don't think I would have lasted long enough to enjoy it. And even now that I enjoy it and could go on my own, 10/10 I'll always choose the group. Good luck! I really hope you can find something. And please stick with it. No matter how much it sucks just keep at it for a month and I promise everything just starts getting better.

Totally agree with you about your comments about Celine Drew bag or other bags which are on trend, just because there is a huge marketing strategy behind to put them on the top. There are some people in youtube or instagran that is paid for showing those items all the time. Influencers, this is how they want to be called. For me they are sales associates of the brand, that pay them to show their products

I agree with most of your points and love all your videos (and this one as well), but I have a Mini Antigona and while it's kind of a "simple" design and not like an "oomph" look, it's just perfectly structured and so durable. I've had it for a year and it still looks brand new, and holds so much for its small size. No way it's overrated! Of course I love me some Chanel as well, and Chanel has better resale value, but every luxury brand has their own charm. So I just wear a variety. ;)

Great tag i have to agree with you about ebay i have had some scammers on the buying end and the selling end. The ebay customer service was horrible as well they didnt help at all in fact they gave my money to the seller and i NEVER got my item. Even the tracking number showed it was never delivered i just couldnt believe it. Its sad when people need to scam there way in life oh well but i do agree about the LV bags they are very cheap right now compared to some other brands. I better get my hands on a few before the price sky rockets :)

Agreed with you on eBay and shady buyers. I just had my worst ebay situation. I sold my Valentino rockstud tote for a loss at $1000 USD. I purchased it for $2400. The person that bid on it and won, sent me a message 3 weeks after the bag tracking # showed it was delivered to the buyers address, claiming they never got the bag. They said someone must have stolen the bag, even though it showed the delivered. This already sound shady to me...who waits over a month to contact the seller to say they did not receive the item??? Even so an expensive item. I know me personally if I was making a big purchase I would be tracking my item daily and following up immediately with the seller not sit on it for a month. This person then had the nerve to open a case against me on ebay the day after contacting me, giving me no time to investigate with the postal company..At this point I honestly thought i was screwed an will be out of pocket money because we all know eBay has great buyer protection...but little to no protection for sellers. In any event I escalated the myself to eBay asking them to get involved in the case the buyer opened against me. Within 24 hrs ebay sent a notice that the case was closed and they made a final decision to side with me... I was so happy ebay agreed with me, because I knew the person that bought my bag was trying to scam me. She had two accounts on ebay an msg me on her bigger account inquiring about the bag signing her name but did not bid on it. Then the person that bid on the bag and won had the same name an was from the same location as the initial person that message me earlier inquiring about the bag but never bid on it. This person sells a lot of designer bags on her account and was probably trying to scam me to get my bag for free and then sell it on her eBay store account for full profit. I don't think she realized I've put two and two together and I'm literally stalking her account lol to see if she ends up posting up my bag for which at that point I'll be contacting ebay to shut her account down or something.

I am so sorry to hear this +Hunnie_Bunnie - I was reading your message on the edge of my seat, incase for some crazy reason ebay decided to favor the buyer! Similar thing happened to me last year, a lady in the U.S purchased a pair of shoes I had for sale. She paid and wrote me a note to say she wanted it shipped to her friend's address, as she would be on holiday. When checking the tracking, I noticed that the notes on the tracking info were showing repeated attempts over a 5 week period to deliver the parcel, with the lady scheduling redeliveries, but not answering the door to take delivery. I contacted her to ask her to maybe go and just collect the parcel from the depot. She denied scheduling redeliveries, or even knowing they'd been attempting deliveries. Long story short, turns out the address WAS her address and after she opened a case against me, ebay closed it in my favor and told me it was a scam - they'd contacted USPS and the lady had received the parcel!! She told me she would get her credit card to return the money, that was Dec 2015 and I never heard anything - so hope that's done with! Ebay really is the most annoying site on earth!! xx
