After dabbling in the world of class-c motor homes, and experiencing their typical short comings, this client looked to Reparadise to build out a Sprinter Van to their exacting design - down to vacuum cleaner placement. The end result is a luxury 4x4 Sprinter Van with the interior finish of our Airstream Builds.
We’re not only proud of this awesome build -- the video content from our in-house team is top-notch as well -- we are pumped to share the longest length Reparadise Video to date.... almost 40min, hot damn! Please comment and give us feedback. 👋👋👋

Hi Rick, our Sprinter Van Camper builds start at 60k (one large money bag 💰) and go up from there... with the option boxes checked on this build, it lands into the private yacht price point (five large money bags 💰💰💰💰 💰).

Hi, did I miss a dining table? How do you dine indoors? But, probably my best utube RV/van conversion to date. Nothing was lost on this incredibly efficiently designed vehicle. Clearly he loved every bit of the design and build. Loved every minute of this footage. The desert backdrop was really clean for shooting. Clearly a real asset to their lives. Some people buy holiday homes..... I would choose this 'type of weekend/holiday' over a holiday home every single time, particularly during the pandemic. This is what I call a blessing! Pure admiration and very high praises!!! Thank you for allowing us to look in on everything, it has been such a huge privilege!

It wasn't shown in the video, but each of the two drawers under the bench seat has a 3/4" top (made from the same wood as the cabinets) that is attached to the top of the drawer with heavy-duty with magnets. Each top functions as a TV tray, and even has a hole cut into it to hold your drink . We found in our Airstream Atlas that setting up and taking down the table was a hassle, so we prefer this approach

Exquisite end result from a design build process capped by phenomenal interior coordination. It all comes together into a cohesive whole. As stated well, you have more in the van usable than an Airstream. The upper cabinet innovation was brilliantly executed. Bike storage simply outside the box. Bikers know. NBD breakdown a bike; was the crux! Only knock - ladders. Not fun pitching off a misstep.

That Nissan Rogue you pulled out isn't exactly the best vehicle to be offroading in the desert, especially pulling a trailer. Crossover AWD systems aren't anywhere near aggressive enough for even mild offroading because they are basically FWD and can only send a small amount of power to the rear wheels. Something like a Subaru Outback or Forester, with a 50/50 torque split would be the only crossover type vehicle I'd trust to take off road. Anyway, this is a very well thought out van build. I'm curious what the total cost was because this is similar to what I want to have built when I retire in about 8 years. I only plan to do it once, so I need to get it right the first time. Great tour also!

@Greg Bishop - We have been watching van build videos for almost two years as we wait for our AWD Ford Transit to arrive - now scheduled for next month. Your build is truly innovative and the design is beautiful. I was blown away by the sliding upper cabinets and the many creative uses of space. I have some specific questions regarding some of the finishes you selected Greg. I hope you will be willing to share: the upper cabinet sliding hardware; the marine vinyl used on the walls, ceiling and floors (specific make, pattern and color - I have not seen the honeycomb pattern of floor vinyl); the shower dimensions, fixtures, and interior material used; and the refrigerator. Thank you in advance for any information you are willing to provide. I am absolutely in love with your van. Clearly the hundreds of hours put into its design and build will pay off in utility and fun. Ours will be different, but I'm hoping to incorporate some of the thoughtful design and aesthetics of yours.

The house audio includes a 24-volt Fusion 6-channel amplifier, an Earthquake EQ-4000BT equalizer, an Earthquake SMX-8X shallow subwoofer system, as well as 4 mid-range speakers (two under the passenger seat and 2 in the upper part of the rear doors), and 4 tweeters (2 over the slider door and 2 in the upper part of the rear doors). The speakers are hard-wired, and the amp is bluetooth compatible. @gregbishop5380
@gregbishop5380 2 жыл бұрын
The bed is from AxelBloom.com. The bed is German-designed and made for traditional home use, but many people are now using them in their vans and RVs. Since they only have a showroom in California, we had to buy it without ever seeing one, even though bed comfort was at the top of our "must haves." But based on their online reviews, we felt confident that the bed would meet our needs -- and it exceeded our expectations. We like this bed as much as the Tempurpedic we have at home. Ask for Yong and tell him I sent you. Best customer service I have ever had.

Sorry for the slow reply -- life happens. We love our bike drawers. The design started with the idea of having the bikes in drawers and everything else followed that. We just hit the 2 year mark of having the van and I wouldn't trade the drawers for anything. We just bought new Santa Cruz mtn. bikes and took the van to the bike shop to make sure the bikes we got would fit in the van. I haven't seen anyone else do a horizontal bike drawer layout, but that allowed us to have more room in the bed area so horizontal is the way to go. Good luck!

I'm 5"11" and can put my fist between the top of my head and the ceiling. Like you, we thought that we wanted a full-height shower / toilet cabinet, but we changed our mind when we built it out in cardboard and saw how much more closed in it made the van feel. Good luck on your build!

Weight is a major consideration for these Van builds, we use aluminum 97.5% percent of the time for that reason. That fact aluminum doesn't rust is an added bonus.

@@gregbishop5380 You managed better the 'claustrophic' aspect van builds offer. It looks like a studio appartment, like the ones we have in Europe. No sign of a bathroom is a wonderful thing. It also feels more upmarket.... Like I said, I really loved it! I could not travel and not have an indoor shower or toilet. It is too cold where I am based, and not very many campsites. Very few all year round too. Very interesting to see how the market has changed and people are pursuing slightly smaller lowerslung vehicles which can cope better off road. All the best!

It's really a function of space. In our design, because we prioritized a comfortable and adjustable bed, that took up a total of 12 inches of height. As you know, almost all of the people who carry bikes in the garage end up taking off the front wheel (less than a minute) to reduce height, and most of them also remove the pedals (less than 2 minutes total) to increase storage space. In our case, putting the bikes in drawers reduced the height needed for the bikes, which gave us more space from the top of the bed to the ceiling. It's a tradeoff for sure, but that worked best for us.

@@gregbishop5380 as for the front wheel yes all I have met remove the front wheels, and connect the through axle or QR to a mount in the slide out bord, I've never seen anyone remove pedals before, due to thredding could be a problem and worth the risk, specially opersite threds, I take front wheel off dropper post dropped then slide in, also if I take a loop of friends for a day out I can fit 7 bikes in mine if following the same no adjust to handlebars ether and I'm pretty sire my bed hight is the same as yours, so I'm still very lost to the waist of space you use yours, when I'm out for time away and not 7 bikes I put three bikes in there pluss all my climbing gear diving gear and kitesyrfing kit also and still have spare room not much for wet cloths hanging in there, so sorry but totally lost about that part you done, the rest is awesome though...

@@googlelimp9834 The bed frame -- which is electronically adjustable like a hospital bed so that the head and knee areas can be raised -- is 5 inches high. The mattress is an additional 7 inches. The available width in the garage is 39 inches, which was more than we needed for the height of the bikes when they are laying on their sides in the drawers. Storing the bikes on their sides allowed us to lower the bed by several inches, which in turn allows us to use the bed (with the head area raised) as a lounging couch (for reaching, binging Netflix, etc.).
