I have a baby pink quilted criss body bag that is made with super soft leather. Maybe lambskin. I'm scared to use it because I'm afraid I'll mess it up. Should I condition first and then spray a protectant? What products would you recommend? Love your channel.

I trust Bickmore and Apple Brand products - never had issues with either. They both have a conditioner and a protectant spray as part of their product lines. You can buy both brands on Amazon. By the way, Bickmore sometimes has a non-aerosol version of its protectant spray available which I highly recommend because there is no chemical odor after spraying you need to let air out.

Unfortunately I don’t know too much about oxidation besides how to prevent it from occurring further. The more you keep it out of the sunlight and air, the better. Store it in a dark area in a white cotton dustbag tied shut when not in use.

How do you clean the canvas on the LV? Just got my first one and have used my MK care kit and was told that’s not the best for the canvas.

Canvas can really just be wiped down with a damp cloth since it’s coated. I’d recommend using distilled water so you don’t get water spots. Definitely don’t get any water on the vachetta trim if it has that!

Thank you for this video! I have a red Celine purse that I bought preloved and I've sprayed it with the Apple brand spray but the red dye has transferred onto my clothes when I wore it. Mind you, it was hot and I was sweaty but what would you suggest I do/use so the transfer doesn't happen anymore??

You can try something like Carbon Pro that might seal it in more.

Hey, very informative video. Mind if i ask you how do you clean your bags after you use them out since the pandemic i have heard people clean their bags use distilled water combined with disinfectant liquid. But i am scared to ruin the leather. Does the leather cleaner & moisturizer enough to get the dirt away?

I’ve only been caring pebbled leather and coated canvas bags out and I just wipe them down with baby wipes. Not sure if that’s sanitary or not but I haven’t had any issues so far!

Question for you… I have the Bick 4 conditioner and I was trying to clean my Limited edition Rainbow Ombré Quilted coach cross body… I did only the leather strap to test it out and I was noticing a little bit of the white was rubbing off. Not a ton, but I noticed it. I was really light handed and cleaning very lightly. How do I fix that from happening? And is this just a normal occurrence for colored, treated leather? *The Bick 4 Conditioner also has a warning on the back to not use it on treated leather. And most purses are treated leather 😩

Hmm never had this issue before. You sure it was Bick 4 and not Bick 1? I’ve used it on Coach’s pebbled leather before without any issues at all.

Protect, yes. Conditioning is probably not necessary for the first year or so you have the bag, depending on how much you use it.

Yes! I definitely would use the same products. The Fleming bag is very delicate but don’t be scared of it. Scratches are hard to see unless you’re in the exact right lighting. Just keep it well conditioned, especially the corners!
