I thought it would be fun to go through what makeup I like to take on trips. Generally, I aim to be as minimal as possible while also still giving myself some room for choices and fun.
I forgot to include concealer in this video as I haven't been wearing it much lately, but I would bring my Cle de Peau Concealer stick with me!

I’m similar as far as types of items but I’m bringing a Pat McGrath mothership for eyes. I want to option of neutral mattes with the ability to add a shimmer topper! I suppose it depends on the type of vacation (beach, city, length, etc). Loved the video!

Even wore a pink top to match for ya. 😉 The skincare I packed is even more minimal than this! I used to pack wayyyyy too much. I took a cleansing balm, one set of exfoliating pads (I looooove the ones by iS Clinical), one serum, eye cream, a cream, SPF, and lip balm! Oh, and my Caudalie Beauty Elixir. Can never be without that! All of these are in mini sizes, which helps too. I decanted my current cleansing balm into a spare 30ml jar I had (with the very intention of using it for travel!). Driving for trips definitely helps! Just last night, I was talking about wanting to go to Montreal this summer and flirted with the idea of driving there, but it would take days and I'm not sure I have it in me. 😂 Flying it is! Ooh I've always wanted to spend Christmas in Montreal!! I saw a travel magazine about Christmas in Montreal as a child and it has stayed with me for years!! And PEI in the Spring or Summer...I was a huge fan of "Anne of Green Gables" I noticed the pink shirt right away & love it!! Think Pink is my motto!! 🩷🩷🩷

I haven't made my way to PEI yet, but it's on my list of places to visit here. Think in pink! Love it! Today I'm wearing cobalt blue with orange and a lime green bag I got for my birthday. I'm all about bright colours right now! 💕

Hope you had a lovely trip and birthday, and I hope you have a beautiful, blessed, and happy new year in your life!💕✨🥰 Loved this video, it was so fun to watch and your selection was lovely. I recently traveled and from all the makeup I brought, which I tried to take the least I could because I always tend to take up quite a bit of space with my skincare, I literally ended up using the same 5-6 products every day 😅 (WA foundation stick, WA Mimi blush for cheeks and eyes or sometimes Violette_FR's Petite Culotte, Anastasia's Brow Wiz pencil, WA Les Nudes, CT Pillow Talk lip liner and near the end of my trip Merit's Stockholm blush which I actually got there), so basically a kind of boring very natural monochromatic beige-pink look, I did take some brighter colored lipsticks to wear some day but I was always in a hurry so I couldn't be bothered haha, I think for me the truly crucial things are concealer, maybe a brow pencil, a neutral brown/beige pink cream blush that can be used on eyes, cheeks, and lips and a lip balm. I guess at least now I'll know better next time and only take those products and perhaps only a few (very few) extra ones for something a bit more fun. The Byredo Syren palette looks so amazing I'm always so drawn to their more colorful palettes but find them intimidating, I would definitely love to see what kind of looks you create with this palette. Oh, and btw I finally tried the Surratt blushes, unfortunately, they didn't have a lot of shades available but I got the Rougeur shade and it's so lovely, hopefully, I'm able to try more shades soon, thank you again so much for the recommendation! @@bornblushing Well you've got such lovely contrast in your coloring - your dark hair and eyes make your skin pop, and those bright colors join the party seamlessly! (Especially that Byredo palette - so juicy!) My skin and hair and eyes all have the same level of saturation. So I think that's why I generally feel more comfortable with my neutrals. (Or maybe that's just an excuse! 😉) Thanks for making such fun videos!

HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS TO YOU BRITTANY!! I hope you're having a fabulous time :D. This was so fun to see, I always enjoy beauty/skincare packing videos. You would laugh at how minimal I have gotten at times with travel makeup. When flying it is usually due to weight/size and the intention of saving room for souvenirs haha. Because I was driving to Vegas though I was more liberal with my packing and fit everything into my Espressoh pink cloud bag hehe. It's a little larger than your Givenchy but I love that it's padded and washable. Thanks to your recommendation of focusing on powders I brought 2 eyeshadow palettes, 2 powder blushes and a highlighter. Then my eye brushes, and a slimmer cheek & powder brush. I think I did pack my Givenchy prism libre travel powder too but haven't used it yet. Definitely will powder under my eyes today though as even a tubing mascara gave me panda eyes when I added them to my lower lashes 😂. I also packed my one Chanel lip liner I've been loving and a Fawn Beauty lip gloss. I tried to keep more of my fancier stuff at home due to the heat but was happy those were my lip choices. I almost brought a bright orange lippie option but opted out due to all eating/drinking planned hahaha. Specific items since you're curious! Glossier skin tint (similar to the Chanel water fresh tint but more compact. I should do a side by side!) ABH clear brow gel (came in a Sephora Favorites set) ABM mini brow whiz (a freebie haha)-I've started adding more color to my eyebrows so they photograph better lol Sydney Grace Mel Thompson palette (their shadows pack a punch!) Sydney Grace California 9-pan (rosy neutrals) RMS Hydra blush in French Rosé Nabla Skin Glazing highlighter in Privilege Glossier tubing mascara Kosas cloud powder (mini) Givenchy prisme libre travel powder (mousseline)-sadly discontinued Chanel lip liner (beautiful rosy nude with a bit of an interesting sheen to it) Fawn Beauty lip oil serum in coffee cake Laneige lip sleeping mask in peach ice tea (haven't needed) ...a sparkly topper shade would have been nice to bring ...usually i bring a Natasha Denona 5-pan mini or a liquid eye shadow for ease (i was eyeing Petite Culotte but didn't want it to get damaged by heat) Do you ever bring travel fragrance? I brought my Violette Fr roll-on. The roller ball has such a tight fit in the dispenser that I was able to confidently throw it in my Kozha Numbers hand bag which I've been wearing nonstop :D. I'd love to see your travel skincare bag next time! So happy seeing you featuring Byredo Syren and swatching all the colors especially those Sisley lip liners and lippies :). Syren is definitely still on my mind. Thinking I may get it in June or July, tbd. Would love to see a vlog of your bday trip if you film any footage! x

If heat was a factor for this trip, then my choices would have been quite different! I am quite curious about the exact differences between the Glossier Skin Tint and Chanel's Water Fresh Tint! Your choices sound perfect for Vegas' heat, and I'm glad you have that powder so you can take care of the panda eyes situation, haha. I always get panda eyes in crazy heat! Ooh, yes. For fragrance, I packed a mini Jo Malone in Nectarine Blossom and Honey, and then I also packed a sample size of a fragrance by Cartier that I received in a gift very recently. It's lovely and very nighttime appropriate! I've brought Violette Fr's Yeux Paints with me when I travelled to the Dominican Republic last year, and they held up really well in the heat, just in case you'd want to bring Petite Culotte with you next time! My skincare for this trip is laughably minimal! I decanted some of my Augustinus Bader cleansing balm into one of my old La Mer 30ml jars, and I had a mini size of the La Mer Soft Cream that was a GWP, so I brought that as well. I also brought one set of my favourite exfoliators (iS Clinical's Active Peel System), my eye cream by Cosmedix, and my 15ml bottle of the La Mer Concentrate as I still had the tiniest bit left that I had intentionally reserved for travel. And then my La Mer lip balm. It took up hardly any space! You will love Byredo's Syren. It's so gorgeous! I love having it with me, and really I only need to use my fingers for it. The eye makeup brushes weren't necessary at all. I don't know what I was thinking with that since I already knew that this formula responds best to a finger application!
