This is like a typical Expat Villa in Hua Hin in Thailand, very well designed. And very practical ceilings. I'm surprised so many new houses in Manila have 20 ft ceilings with wall to wall windows which makes it a challenge to cool and reduce the blinding glare from the sunlight. Nice dramatic look when you have 20 ft ceilings but not practical in hot and humid Philippines.

This home could easily be my IDEAL abode, Mike & Bianca. Modern with simple, clean lines, open concept, spacious inside & outside but manageable, natural lights, nothing ostentatious or pretentious, utilitarian with beautiful accents and high-tech offerings. What's not to ❤??! Absolutely nothing!!

Built entirely on trust: John's Filipina wife is the owner of the land and building, and could sell it all, at any time, banking the takings, without legal repercussions. A similar situation prevails in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam. In Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico and Colombia foreigners can hold title.

Regarding the house… big but not too big very straightforward and of course very high tech and no shortage of furniture. Very well done. All I’d do differently is make it 3. -4 bedrooms up instead of 2 large ones ( more room for rellies who would definitely come to visit) Thanks Mark Euringer

Love this home - its more than a house, it's a home ♡ Everything is just as they wanted it to be. A perfect lived in space which is modern & chic. The area they have built this in looks stunning. Safe & secure. I think the balcony is my favourite feature. It's all very beautiful and I wish them many years of happy living in this stunning abode ♡♡♡

You completely misunderstood and mis-represented the solar power unit. It was charging at 6.4 kW. The batteries had 9.0 kWh of reserve. The consumption was only 4.6 kW, including lights and aircon. So, the solar panels were supplying 100% of requirements. Top job! At night the batteries will become depleted but he looks pretty much self sufficient ... should have asked him about electricity bills from the grid.

His average bill is about P200 - P1k a month and sorry to say he doesn't have ay batteries

You seem to have the needed connections and knowledge to make it happen… I presume that It would be easier if Bianca- for example was dual citizen… but you all have the connections and knowledge and salesmanship to make it work….. Great exposition, thanks. Love the awkward, gangly, 14yo teen. Funny how older guys, like the owner, keep their wives out of such videos. His construction background was essential; otherwise he'd be robbed blind in the PI, and end up with a material mess. His financial input was similar to selling an unexceptional house back home in the UK. Bare feet? C'mon ... wear slippers or flip-flops at least! Oh, and he's frying himself with strong wi-fi signals, 24/7 ... should be all hard-cabled with Cat-8.

The price of those mansions by presello will depend on the location. The house that's featured in this video is in Iloilo, it's not in Metro Manila where land values alone are well over 35,000 pesos per sq meter up to 100,000 psm in up and coming subdivisions

Land here is approx ,15k per sq m when he bought it. Which is around 11m pesos alone. Now it's probably higher than that to buy. So that is more than 25% of the cost alone. Much of the details in the house are very specific and some items cost much more than others. House like this would easily sell for 30m PHP so it's reasonable considering the upgrades he made
