I struggle with this too! 😊I think your photo books are a great idea. In a way you do have something you can hold onto after the vacation ends!! Super excited for your upcoming travel! Thanks for sharing. ❤

Glad I’m not alone on this :) I think with all the price increases and with how the economy is doing, a lot of us started reflecting a little more on where we allocate our fun money. Yesss, love creating photo books of my vacations🥰 And the growing amount of shelf space my photo books take up :)

Lesley, to me travelling seems to be more valuable in terms of impressions and experience that are both timeless and satisfying 😊...but in the end everyone has to decide on his/her own ❤
@LesleyAdina5 ай бұрын
Still in the process of trying to find a balance. Because I get so much enjoyment out of both. But for where I’m at currently, travel seems to take precedent and I’m not mad about it😌

Your travel vlogs are always fascinating and beautifully filmed - its almost like being there! Those photo books look gorgeous. I remember the old days taking my film to be printed and waiting to see if any of my 20 x photos had that dreaded sticker on saying "substandard photo" - yes, my finger over the lens or so blurry I had no clue what it was! 😂
@LesleyAdina5 ай бұрын
Haha, yes! At least that seems to have been a universal experience😅 Can I just say, I am so grateful for your support and comments! Thank you :) And I am so glad you enjoy my travel vlogs. Gets me even more excited to start filming in the South of France when I’m going (counting down the days at this point😍)

omg two large photo books for london! I think there are phases in life where you're in acquisition mode or in enjoy mode. Shopping is a skill (learning what you want, discerning good quality, saving up, finding a good price, etc), but also is travel, so while some people are able to do both at the same time, it makes sense to stagger the two luxuries.
@LesleyAdina3 ай бұрын
Absolutely! There have certainly been phases where I was more in a purchasing mindset. I think both my time in London (those books took me literally ages but I am so grateful that I put the time into them) as well as the Caribbean cruise really were woke me up to how much joy and fulfillment I get from traveling and discovering new countries and cultures. I’m sure there will be phases in the future where traveling may take a backseat and I put my shopping and acquisition hat again a little more. I will never not love handbags😁

Photo books: what a cool idea, Lesley! That is a great way to document a vacation. I want to go on another cruise. The last one was 1995 when you were a baby, lol. It’s high time I went back. The first cruise was to Jamaica and Grand Cayman in 1993 and then in ‘95 I went to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Maarten. I would love to take a European cruise next. Thanks for sharing. 🛳️🚢

Those cruise routes sound amazing as well! Fingers crossed you’ll get to go on that European cruise soon🚢⚓️

Having been blessed living in Hawaii, LA, Miami, Vegas I don't think I've experienced luxury in these places have to offer in products and services anywhere else worldwide . US brings it in style . Views are my other big thing ( I get excited about ) when on vacation. Bali was exceptional. I continue to travel and purchase when I can. Love your channel ❤

Living in Hawaii sounds like an absolute dream😍 Bali is on my bucket list as well. I’m also big on sunsets and sunrise views! Which city, would you say, was your favourite you have lived in?

@@LesleyAdina from Vegas having a live circus in my backyard to Hawaii exploring the rim of a volcano. (Typical activity what the locals do.😊..joking) As you would imagine Vegas was the most bojie with what products and services are available. There really is no limit on what's offered.

Thanks for tagging me, Lesley. Speaking of travel, I was recently on vacation and therefore catching up on videos. The Caribbean looks absolutely beautiful and I should put that on My travel wish list. there’s definitely a role for both handbags and travel in my life.😂❤ how do we choose?
@LesleyAdina4 ай бұрын
@@DaniOchannel Hope you enjoyed your vacation🥰 Absolutely, I’d highly recommend putting the Caribbean on your bucket list. I loved it so much! There is definitely room for both bags as well as travel in my life, but it’s a balancing act. This year in particular, I had the pendulum swing a little more in favor of travel and while I don’t regret that at all, I wouldn’t mind another bag either😅 We can’t have it all…

For me, too much of anything bores me. So I prefer to have a bit of everything. Some bags some holidays work best for me 😊xx

The handbags will last far longer than any trip, however memorable. And Las Vegas is so tacky.
@LesleyAdina5 ай бұрын
Haha, it was my first time in Las Vegas and in low season. So I actually quite enjoyed it. Not overly eager to go back though😄 That’s my struggle exactly! Handbags are forever (in an ideal scenario), travel…well, the memories are. But it’s not as easy to measure, compared to bags. So I absolutely get where you are coming from!
