Hi Joe! Not many. Many of the homes that do have solar panels around here have them leased, which is a giant pain. Water St is owned outright and they sell the extra energy back to the market. And geothermal is a more expensive option to put in, but is a great option for cost-savings! Between the solar panels and geothermal HVAC, the utilities are surprisingly low - happy to send you the utilities sheet if you'd like to take a peek!

Hi Judi!! Good question - very different vibes from each town. Landisville is definitely more of a suburb of Lancaster type of feel. Very convenient to main thoroughfares, which means easy access to conveniences and entertainment options. Also a lot of parks in Landisville area, which is nice! Strasburg is it's own small-town feel, way less suburb-like. Still close to conveniences though (maybe not as close as Landisville is on certain things), and also much more surrounded by rural agricultural land! Matter of preference between the two for you guys to choose - I love both areas, personally!

Youngest demographics, really, Matt did you forget about all the retirement communities in Lancaster County?

Of course not! But even with the retirement communities, Lancaster has the 3rd lowest median age of any county in PA - only behind Philadelphia County and Centre County (Penn State)!
