India has always had a very rich history with food. But yes hotels have been catering more and more with "luxury foods" these days, especially the western types more. I hope our traditional foods don't disappear though. Like our traditional sweets are quite luxurious cause we use expensive nuts, tough techniques and sweet spices. Savory too. Especially the very old recipes made for Kings and Queens. I hope our own sweets and savories also shine in these luxury buffets.

Meen murungakka curry - it's Tamil language. Meen means fish, murungakka means drumstick. So it's fish drumstick curry. Thakali rasam. Thakali means tomato. So tomato rasam

I'm always baffled by people thinking they have to choose haha We get a Sunday every week and why not experiment/try new things while we're at it? I love the Four Seasons garden, anything goat cheese and the hassle back potatoes. However Conrad absolutely nails the Indian food, the sushi and the desserts. My suggestion: don't choose and try new things

*Long-ish post alert* Haha, how I wish I could take your advice. For most of us, having a lavish brunch is a one time affair, or say once in many months if not a year. I crave the experience, as does my wife, but there is an inside voice which says- you don't really need to spend this much. So I weigh my options- which among my options can I try, because I will only try one, and assume the others are similar. And that's why we come to see the 'best' experience. And having seen your video, I thought I would ask with my first ever public post on KZbin, as i was looking for places to visit this weekend. 😂🤣 Cheers! And I look forward to more videos from you.

All k but pls check Wat brand oil they use. As 99 percent hotels and restaurants use 🌴 palm oil as it is cheapest. It is very allergic to human body. Need to ask them first Wat oil u have used. Thanky

Can't say it's an Indian buffet meal cause most of it is all foreign foods. I wish these hotels made luxury Indian foods instead so foreigners can have a chance to taste our rich luxury cuisine in a hygienic and comfortable environment. Like I am not seeing expensive biryani and even the non-veg section has a western cuisine....but I am glad u enjoyed yourself ^^.

I'm a born carnivore I think Conrad lacks more meat dishes. Too much emphasis on vegetarian dishes.

That's an interesting observation because somebody else mentioned there are not wnoigh veg dishes haha Conrad has plenty of meat dishes but most of them will be chicken. There is plenty of fish though and some mutton/lamb too
