Alright mate you know what your doing would you say a boxer van is best for a camper van?

We think the Boxer is a great base vehicle. Citroen Relay, Fiat Ducato and Vauxhall Movano (after 2022) are pretty much the same van, so would recommend them too.

Im curious about that domestic radiator in the van

A bit unusual isn’t it, but works great as a source of radiant heat when there’s not enough floor space for effective underfloor heating. Are you curious about how it works or just generally what it’s doing there?!

It’s certainly a more involved installation than a blown-air Chinese (or German Webasto/Eberspacher) diesel heater but is a more versatile system in terms of what you can do with the heat generated. The general function of the system is: A diesel-powered hydronic heater (Webasto Thermo Top C, in this van) installed under the van that heats a circuit of antifreeze/coolant. The heated fluid is pumped through the radiator for radiant heat, through a heat exchanger for blown-air heat at various outlets and through a calorifier (hot water tank) providing hot water to the kitchen and shower. Heating is controlled using a Heatmiser 12v thermostat/programmer. Basically, like a small domestic central heating system but using a diesel heater instead of a gas boiler. This setup can also be plumbed into the van’s engine coolant circuit to harness the wasted heat when driving, though we don’t generally do this in our conversions. Hope that helps.
