You will love CT 🇿🇦 As a local must visits: Clifton beach, Cape Point, Kirstenbosch Gardens, V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Boulders Beach with penguins... Trip to Stellenbosch Winelands is also beautiful and maybe Shark cage dive? Weather is unpredictable though ❤️

The skiing community often appears judgemental (i think it's not just men btw) because influencers have contributed to inflation of prices, scarcity of accommodation, as well as making pistes crowded (and lift queues super long!) This makes skiing less accessible to those interested in the sport and not the social aspect. At the end of the day though you went to Courchevel, a popular destination for more than just skiing and with plenty of space for everyone haha
