I think as a community we’ve def simmered when it comes to the fancy luxury stuff. I love your shirt, with your Birkin, with your red hair. I think the changes will bring a fresh spin on things. There is more luxuries to life than material posessions. August is my birth month and I am weighing if I want to get a handbag for my birthday and just maybe buy one handbag per year for my birthday so it will be special. I am starting to focus less and less on material items, not throwing anything out, but using what I have. My time, energy,and money is being more spent on education and improving myself. I am about to start my third master's degree.

Oakbrook Center is a dangerous place for my wallet. Every time I go there, I always find at least one thing I have to have. 😂 The shopping in Chicago and the five collar counties (I live in E Lake County, near the IL/WI border) is fabulous; up there with So Cal (where I lived close to a decade) and New York City.

Change is good. I know we will enjoy any content you and Zane bring us! I'm scaling back my collection and luxury watching too. When I took a brutally honest look at the bags I'm actually using, only two are in the luxury category, one vintage LV speedy and one older Celine seau sangle. The things I am enjoying the most are just well made, high quality Coach, Dooney, Ralph Lauren, Mulberry and a couple of lesser known midrange brands. In all areas I'm focusing now on quality, durability and timeless design, and I'm really enjoying shopping (and viewing) way more intentionally.
