For me, I'm on the hunt for something in burgundy because I don't have a red bag at all, so I'm compromising and looking for a burgundy scarf to add to bag neutral bag I already have. Great video, Caleb! I’m with others who are saying this is exactly what I’m doing right now, haha! It’s been “shop your closet” for several months now. I did a lot of shopping during 2022-2023, in particular, and I’m hitting the pause button to carry what I already own and enjoy everything. I miss the adrenaline rush of the new, sought after bag, but I’m loving carrying what I worked so hard to get! For Autumn (also my fave season), I love my earth tones. I have a golden yellow Speedy 25 in Epi that’s going to get carried, a rust colored Mulberry Lily bag, a dark brown Florentine leather Dooney messenger style bag, a light brown Coach Patrica bag (vintage), and a brown jacquard Prada crossbody that will go into rotation. I have a lot of Louis Vuitton monogram canvas that’s already getting used. As we get closer to November / December, I’ll add in more burgundy. I have a Mansur Gavriel bucket, a DeMellier Montreal bag, and a Strathberry micro tote in burgundy that are some of my favorites. I’ll also start using my plaid bags more - a Coach Revel (1941) and a gorgeous Fendi By the Way bag. Love shopping my own closet! ❤

For fall I love carrying my larger bags. Mainly coach rogues. I carry 20s, 25s, and i think this year i really will jump into my rogue 39. I think my Zebra Calf hair, tweed, rogue will come out alot and my old shearling tabby. As for jewel tones I have a nice dark turquoise bucket bag. Love shopping the closet!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that you have taken this path! So few KZbinrs who deal with trends and fashion offer this kind of content. I really think that there should be more videos like this. Well done Sir! I too shall take this path this fall! (Also I am on a no buy practice so it's not like I have any choice in the matter haha). Oh! and the Coach hobo is BRILLIANT! It matches the "cowboy", "suede" and "tote" all in one (oh and the jewel tone interior :) The bleaker bag also fits the jewel tone and western look. Kind of makes me sad since Coach has really given up on quality and craftsmanship lately while increasing their prices.

Yes!! I have definitely been shopping my closet. I am carrying my vintage Marc Jacobs Wellington Fulton instead of The Row Margaux, I have a vintage givenchy clutch, and I have a Brian Atwood hobo bag. I don't have any jewel tone bags because I mostly carry neutrals but I do have clothing in jewel tones.

That green Coach is delish.💚 I have Coach Hampton hobo bag from the same collection (hardware buckle is the same) in Mauve💗It sat in my closet and was listed for sale, I just re-discovered it. The quality is amazing, leather is so lux. I wore it to vacay a week ago and people were staring at it asking which brand is it and if it's Prada. Nope it's a Coach, an "old Coach" (in James Bond voice). 😁

Ok, this is a little eerie. Earlier today I was organizing my closet full of my bags, putting away summer and getting out fall. So I have a pretty good idea of what I currently have😊. You have such a beautiful collection. And your mod shots are perfection. I love your Coach suede hobo. One of the bags I want is the Polo suede large hobo. Your Coach suede tote is also a beauty. I can’t think of any cargo bags I have, I have jewel tone covered with my Dooney plum Janine satchel. Also am drawing a blank with belted bags. East west shouldn’t be a problem because that’s a favorite silhouette for me anyway. Not really a tote girl, so that’s not calling my name. I’m missing something but there are three or four I’m seriously considering, but trying to whittle it down to one! It’s hard. I don’t really have any handbags that fit the categories per se. I have a regular sized D & B hobo in gray Saffiano and I have a medium The Tote Bag in a bone jacquard (it holds a lot but is heavy). The only handbag that I think of as fall specific is my D & B Beacon Woven domed satchel that is a honey tone embossed basket weave with contrasting bone vachetta. It has a crossbody strap. So based off this video, I need to get shopping, lol! Thanks a lot, Caleb.

Hi Anna! That's a tough call! I think either color would be a great jumping off point. Do you find yourself wearing more cool colors? The deep blue might be a good option. Or a tobacco would be a good neutral for any outift!

I wear a lot of neutrals. I love white and black classic looks, the occasional navy as well. Blue is my favorite color, but the brown would be easier to coordinate with outfits. I already have a brown toteme bag, though. Decisions, decisions! I think I’m leaning towards the blue… There are so many great deals out there for 35 and 40 Birkins! If I were 6’7 like you, I wouldn’t be able to stay off of the real real’s Birkin deals 😁 you can pull off the bigger bags!

Great shopping tip, Caleb. When I first saw the Coach Empire bag, everyone said it looked like the Margaux, but I noticed the shape was very similar to a Dooney domed satchel style. I already own several Dooneys, so why go out and buy something that I already have in my closet.

I LOVE a big hobo as I find they are easy to get in and out of. Over the last few years I collected 2 Balenciaga giant hobos (one was in rough shape so I dyed it blue - Hello, Jewel tones) And in the last few weeks I found a RM Nikki in a deep green, an olive Mby MJ Turnlock hobo, an MbyMJ chestnut colored turnlock hobo....and a Marc Jacobs Sophia in sap green (OMG THIS COLOR). All of them under 50 bucks (some even under 35). so very much ticking off the cargo and xl hobo trends. In love with all of them and swapping out bags with abandon because I'm having fun using them all. The one thing I forgot about some of those early 2000s bags is the weight of the hardware!

The giant hobos are fun too - more of a traditional crescent shape but still floppy and soft...and more difficult to find. Therefore I will treasure my two. I picked up the light brown suede hobo late summer. Under $50. It’s been a great weekend bag. Every thanksgiving Xmas I take out my special edition 2004 signature metallic gold with brown suede bag. My husband bought me this bag for my birthday in 2004. I take it out every year to celebrate his love for me. Lol😂
