This year I'd love to add more pieces from Hermès like the Birkin size 40, Constance, 24/24 and Bolide. Maybe I'll be bad and get an Hermès Kelly 40! I also recently fell in love with the Chanel Jumbo- so that's kind of a must-have for my collection, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangle and a Chanel Reissue. Aside from those, I'd love to add a few more Fendi Peekaboo bags to my collection along with a Fendi Baguette. Make sure you subscribe to see what I buy this year!

I think for me I had to shift a few times. We’ve moved quite a bit for my husbands career (NYC-FL-MAINE- NJ- Tokyo- FL- Philly suburbs) so the constant changing of climate definitely played a part in that and I will say when I lived in Maine I didn’t care what that LL bean coat looked like I wasn’t being cold! But I’ve definitely invested in more quality items that I can pull out again and again and not something that looks great one year and awful by the time the season’s up. Shoes, clothes and outerwear. I don’t mind making the investment for something that will last.

Loving the video! It's an interesting topic of style evolution and I enjoyed your thoughts as you worked through your collection. Loving the Birkin, nice masculine colour, but what gets me…. The opening and closing, is a nightmare, needing both hands and ideally a table, to set down the bag on. I would love an HAC 40 one day, was offered a navy canvas with black leather trim cargo, will never forgive myself for letting it go! Was also offered a men’s kelly 50, in black leather but this wasn’t my taste.

This was similar to what I went through, I’ve downsized to 20 bags but have since added 6 and my goal is to stick to 30ish. At one point I was around 170 bags and over 500 shoes, we had to make a room into a bag/shoe room. I realized it was too much, I was overwhelmed. I feel like it’s more manageable now because the things I have will get used. I notice now as I go if I’m not using something I sell it. I recently looked at a Vespa in grey, but thanks to my bestie she pointed out I never use grey bags and end up selling them, so I passed. It’s on my list but I need to stick to the right colors. I loved seeing what you’re using!

Marie Kondo taught me to empty my bag every day. That makes me be mindful of selecting a bag every day to fit my needs and outfit that day instead of just keep using the same bag day after day. I have a space in a top drawer where I put the items I take out of the bag so nothing gets forgotten.

It is normal for our styles to change. When I was in my 20s and 30s I would wear an Army Jacket, band tee, and jeans. I would carry a distressed bag. Now that I am in my 40s I wear nothing but dresses. To me they are more comfortable than jeans and now I carry a top handle bag or a shoulder bag like a classic flap or reissue. No crossbodies. You have a large collection of bags. You said you had about 100 bags. If you were to wear every bag they would only get 3-4 days out of the year. I think it is good that you have options. If you use your favorites all the time they will get worn out faster. Sometimes a bag is only good for a certain time and place. Like your colorful LV speedy is not an everyday bag. It is meant for a time and place. I understand you have a new style but I would hold off and use the bag when the situation calls for it. The same receptors that make us want to shop also are the same that make us want to declutter.

I'm new here and I have Subscribe a few months ago I very new to the high-end handbags all thanks to my husband getting a better job and pulling us both out of debt "Thank you Jesus" now we're not living pay check to check anymore. Don't get me wrong I still can't afford the amazing name brands you have but I have now purchased my 2nd Coach bag. And I say I but it's actually 100% my husband who purchased both of them for me. For our next Zoo outing. I never thought I would say something like he purchased a cute bag that matched all my needs for out next outing so I wasn't stuck carrying around my big Dracie Carryall. I have always been happy with purchasing my bags from Walmart yardsales etc. Not really carrying about anything outside of the size & colors. I've never had anything against name brand bags but I knew they were out of my league and several still are but now I have my hopes up that one day my collection of High-end Purses will also grow into a beautiful collection like yours. Thank you so much for your very cheerful and incredible informational videos. I have learned so much from you. I know tell my husband whenever we're in Coach... Hello Caleb, I’m new to your channel and I just have to say! I really really love your manner and style, it’s so relatable. I watch quite a few luxury KZbinrs here and I find your handbag choices are a lot more.. dare I say it? Better 😄🤭loud colours seem to be the fashion but the traditional heritage look, whether American, English or anything else always wins. I think with mindful buying it is a better choice as well. The Ricky is an absolute stunner and takes first prize. The Hermes bag is a definite second, what a beautiful colour! But I also really love your Fendi with the beading. Got to admit the multicolour and Gucci blue bags are not my vibe, but they would look fantastic with a winter black/navy blue outfit. I also watched one of your past videos with a green Louis Vuitton bag from the men’s range… the most appealing LV I have seen so far and I guess it’s a reminder as a woman to check out the men’s ranges as well 😄 xx

I have a Birkin HAC in Courchevel, gold on gold. Can’t remember the year off the top of my head (I wanna say ‘96) so she’s quite old. But I got her off TRR about 2 years ago for a steal ($7500). I also have a Kelly sellier 32 from 1987 in Courchevel, gold on gold and she looks pristine! Took her to NY 2 years ago and the ladies in Chanel were coming up to me asking about her. Got caught in a downpour with her (she has a rain coat) and she survived beautifully. I would love to get either bag in black with gold hardware to round out my collection.

The Vespa looks way nicer than the Evelyn, good purchase. Your reasoning towards the end of the video is probably why the LV Multicolour ended up back on the market in its many forms the past few years. Those who bought it on release have outgrown it 20 yrs on. They’ve had their enjoyment of it and if you aren’t into collecting, maybe you’ve had your joy from it too?

Beautiful as all of your bags are, for me your Hermes Vespa takes the prize.🥇Runner up - perfect color Ricky.🥈Your Gucci Marmonts is gorgeous but the chain issue would drive me crazy too. I'm now following Cami's (of Cami's Closet) tip to store camera bags upside down to help maintain the shape. Too heavy bags no longer make the cut for me. For what it's worth, I would definitely keep the Muse Two forever. Classic aesthetic? YES!!! Fun video! 🎈🌻

Brutually honest judgement here, I really think the Gucci Marmont should go. It's not big enough for a work bag by any stretch of the imagination. Is it a date night bag? Special occasion bag? It's a gorgeous colour but it is difficult to style. Also, the Peekaboo, love the beadwork but if it's too heavy to use... should also go. Anyway that's my 2 cents worth. Ducking for cover 😅

The LV multicolor there is nothing like it in your collection or on the market, and IF you still like it, it goes with any solid color outfit. Once you're ok mixing it's fun aesthetic with the serious quiet gentleman aesthetic you've been cultivating lately, I think you'll have fun with it again. I think fashion is about matching things in new ways that at timea are contrasting and having fun. But if you find LV multicolor was a phase, and dont really love it, then I am sure you'll let it go to make room for the things you love. As far as the YSL Muse, it has a similar shape and build as the Ricky and Burken but isn't as pretty in hardware and nice in structure ( more slouchy), so it's ok to say you prefer those bags instead of that one and down size. Though if you want to use it to spare wear on your burkin and ricky....but I don't wear a bag I don't like to spare a more expensive one, I wear a really cute less expensive one that can take a beating if that is my concern on an outing. In the end, you're the one that decides what you live with and what you love and hate, our opinions are superfluous.
