Change your shampoo. Your shampoo could have harsh ingredients. I experienced hair fall when I used herbal essences shampoo, then I switched to a sulfate free shampoo and no more hair fall

If I don't brush my hair when it's wet it turns in to a knotted mess.

I have a tip for u, it's really important not to brush your hair while it is wet but if u have a problem that after your hair is dried then it results into a lot of knots, I was also suffering from the same issue but now I got the solution. So what u need to do is, when your hair is not too wet and not too dry then using a wide comb start combing only the tips and after you are done with the tips then u can comb from ur scalp to the tips of your hair. This has really worked for me. So I wish it works for you tooo
