Had a long walk downtown Ottawa this Thursday and the Market Place and the Rideau Center look dilapidated. Lots of homeless and poor people lying about and begging. Garbage all over the place. The restaurants and shops are empty and bare. Much worse then any major cities in USA. So sad to see.
