In spite if being a 10 year old girl ruling a small House, this character was extremely believable. Every time she opened her mouth during her scenes, she was spot on with everything she said. She was honest, direct, loyal, truthful, sincere, determined, proud, courageous and unflinching, and she remained consistent with those values throughout the series. She stood by those values, and died by them. RIP Lady Mormont. With a character like her. How the fuck did the writers manage to fuck up the last season?

I think the only reason we all think they fucked up the last season is because we all made the mistake of forgetting what made us love it in the first place think about it the night king was beaten we all thought he play a bigger role but aria killed him and saved the world Danny we all thought her and snow should rule and because they were both targaryens we shipped them even though she was his aunt two dragons died think about it. It wasn't the writer who really ruined the show it was us because at the end we started to believe in fact we expected the show to have a happily ever after but Game of thrones is not a fairy tale
@escaramujo2 жыл бұрын
@@amazingemrys2939 Well, no. Sesason 7 was a mess because dialogue was ruushed and not meaninful in any way, comedy relief was downgraded to clownery instead of keeping up with the sarcasm, there was no poetic justice either… AND the characters were less credible by the minute. Suspension of credibility from season 5 onwards, my dude. A total mess.
@brandonandreski17092 жыл бұрын
Because her character was the culmination of their writing and directing ability. She was no more believable than a dragon flying over New York city would have been. She was easily manipulated, brave for no reason, listlessly wise, Arrogant to a fault, and was only given the basic tragic back story that all lazy writing produces. (Responsibility thrust upon her by the tragic death of her parents and brother fighting for a noble cause, she grow wise beyond her years through reverse osmosis having never experienced a battle, or a conflict other than squabbles with her siblings of the occasional village kid trying to look up her skirt.) Come on, she is swinging weapons that easily weigh 7-10 lbs like they are made of paper. My 10 year old can't swing a hammer for more than a few minutes and she helps me in my forge regularly. A marry sue character created to be a literal David and Goliath yet the point of that story was to show how David's own skills worked to his advantage.

Lyanna's speeches always chokes me up, but this one made me cry. One of the best compilation videos of Lyanna Mormont. Good job, especially like your choice of background music. I hope we get a character with this much bravery, heart, and acting in The House of Dragons.

Bella Ramsay the actress who played her will certainly be worth watching for. Loved that her parents decided she shouldn't watch the whole of series 8 until she was a lot older............

That level of integrity of character is hardly seen among any adult human being today..even though its a fictional character, but it surely is an honourable one

Lady Lyanna Mormont of Bear Island ALWAYS knew the Assignment and COMPLETED each one at the Highest Percentile. One of The Most Inspiring Characters ever written. Bravo!!! She was a Queen onsite every time in every way. GOT Fans remembers Lady Mormont ✊🏾💗👑

Lyanna "True Giantsbane" Mormont. One of the finest characters in an amazing but anticlimactic show.

Lady Lyanna did not have a lot of screen time. But what she had was outstanding and made one of the biggest impacts on GOT definitely one of my favorite characters

Lyana Mormont was a top 5 character for me. I really loved how everyone took her seriously and it wasn't just written off as some sort of puppet or stupid character.

Of all the deaths in this epic story, her’s hit me the most. We all die, it’s how we face it that sets us apart, she personified the warrior ethos.

In a giant monster's grasp, as her bones were being crushed, all she thought was "Yes, yes that's right, get me closer to you, you one-eyed fuck." You can see it in her eyes. That is a true warrior.
