Not mine. She was only killed once. During that quest for the Mage's College, where there were those things invading the camp that were like ice wraiths but weren't. I'd only find out later, of course, when I'd be looking for others and come across zombie Lydia, raised by the conjurer guy.

I think he's referring to the Questline where you get Sanguines Rose. There you get a bad hangover and need to puzzle out what you did the night before, for example steal a goat and sell it to a giant. The owner of the goat wants you to get it back for him and promises to tell you what you did that night if you do so. I guess he had Lydia and a dog with him and dismounted near the giant, but his horse and his two companions attacked the giant and Lydia got the giant kick, but didn't die.

Let me translate: I dont know what to say. This happened to me too when I went on a quest to get a goat back from a giant. And then lydia and my dog and horse attacked the giant, suddenly after the aforementioned lady decided to take a flight lesson to the moon and back. She somehow made it out of alive.

first time i ever saw what a giant can do, i attacked with uthgard the unbroken. when i saw her just disappear under the club, i knew i was in over my head. i managed to see the entire half of the map after i TRIED to run. never attack giants head-on

I know but only if you attack first. Lydia's different in that bad way. Followers are only supposed to charge if their alone. If their with you their suppose to follow your character's lead and attacking the goblin that is twenty lvls over her was definitely not my mother's stealthy lead. which is better, hireling or lydia? I'd go with the hireling.

Haha! This is why Lydia rides the pine in Breezehome with my stealth character. I managed a sneak shot which took a nice chunk of the giant's health. Then Lydia, having been told to wait about 100 yards away from myself, then decides to ignore the wait command and charges in for melee. She got launched into orbit before I could fire enough arrows to save her. ~ Resurrect and permanent guard duty at the shack in Whiterun. :/

as far as I got it followers won't level up with you. the level cap is only importent for the level they will have when you get them initially. my gameplay experience supports this as well so I am pretty sure (90%) about it.
