As I was going through my KZbin shorts I came across a small portion of this song. I suffer from depression and anxiety. I have been for some time now. This song and music video really hits home. Especially the way the room looks almost mirrors mine. I love a clean environment but I’m constantly unable to clean it due to being too depressed to move. And because of that it causes me to not be able to get up and do things. Sometimes I sleep through the day so I’m up at night where it looks less messy. Not only does the imagery of the room calls to me but the song lyrics as well. I’m not okay when I tell people I am. And then I get even more anxiety because I can’t be honest with people who have high expectations of me. But I feel completely alone and crazy. The lyrics all encapsulate me just every word. If I keep going u will have a story of my life. But this song really is amazing.

Wow. The pace of the song is overwhelming, in a way that feels very deliberate. On my first listen it was still ear candy, but I don't think I really _understood_ even reading along to the lyrics. But the more I listen to it, the more depth I find and the more I love it. To me this song is about living with anxiety, but thriving all the same!
