I prefer tvd. I think it has better storyline, characters and more interesting. I can rewatch tvd over and over and not get bored. However the originals also is amazing because it makes me feel something about family, they all deserved better.

I totally agree! The Originals is my favorite show in the franchise and for those reasons exactly. So many tearjerking moments especially since the shows main theme was family! The Originals is filled with many heartfelt and heartbreaking moments and that's what I love about it. Everytime I watch tribute videos of Hope and Hayley they never fail to make me shed tears. Same with watching the show itself it really gets me emotional everytime. Hayley is honestly the best tv mom ever. She really does go out of her way to protect everyone she loves no matter what the consequences are. Hope's conversation with Hayley in the other side always makes me the most emotional.

they really did a disservice to the entire Mikaelson family in the end - they loved Hope so much and were so devoted to her, but between how the Originals ended and how Legacies has inadvertently portrayed them, their legacy and the belief that Hope is EVERYTHING has been tainted and ruined. It's such a beautiful story and they really are the only villains I have ever found myself rooting for - their story is so easy to empathize with and they are such great characters and everything about Hope's character in the Originals had so much potential.

O.m.g. I so LOVE this scene! It's so incredible because when Hope as a baby meets Jackson. Jackson reaches out his hand to shake hers? And she grabs his hand, bows her head, and kisses his hand, while uncle Elisa watches on from the background like the protecting knight in his suite of armor! I LOVE IT!!!

What makes me so happy is that you can see so much of the entire family in Hope. Even the people who are a part of the family even if not by blood or even that she didn't get to meet. You can see bits of Davina and Marcel, there are even pieces of Cami in her that are so nice to see. As much as I hate that we see none of the original family in Legacies, I do really appreciate how much the writers put into making sure you get to see how the family affected her personality. It just goes to show that even those that you don't always have can have a profound effect on who you end up being as a person and I really like that the writers did that. Also, side note, can we just talk about the fact that they managed to cast a Hope that looks just like everyone else in her family without being related to any one of them.

They should have carried these characters into Legacies and show more of them! Especially all of Hopes relationships with each one. I wish we could have seen them all as a big happy family for a few episodes like Klaus, Elijah, Hayley, Rebekah, Freya, Kol, Davina, Cami, Marcel, and Hope all together just spending time being happy even if it would be for one episode!

I keep crying, everytime. What an amazing work, its amazing to see how much love. Everyone on this show were thru so much pain, and all the've ever wanted was to keep her saved. Both Klaus and Hayley made a promise to her and they both keep it as long as they lived. I hated what they did to Hope and Elijah's bond in season 5, I hope in Legacies we get to see Cami, Elijah and Klaus in peace and watching over her together, they deserve a happy ending, as much as we do 😭 all those characters we never got a clousure

Touché! The Originals is definitely the most relatable show especially since the main theme is family! I am just waiting for a new part of The Legacies because I just love The Originals so much! I honestly was interested a lot in the Originals' family when I watched The Vampire Diaries but when I watched The Originals, it just was soo soo epic and and so much more interesting for me to see the show I hoped would air. I always love it when they talk about The Originals in The Legacies. This video was totally awesome as well
