Saw the burgundy breton top and straight away went to buy it, saw the grey t shirt while I was looking and got that too! Both will fill a hole in my wardrobe. Also, as a tall woman, only 5 feet 11, the length of the sleeves is refreshing.

For transitional outfits, you can also wear your summer dresses, the solid ones, made of poplin cotton, and add a blazer, loafers and autumnal coloured handbag to match. I also like white shirts and crisp white heavyweight cotton teeshirt like the one from Arket, to show off the summer tan 😄🏝☀️

Thank you for another great style video. Everything looks lovely on you. I find it interesting the way style guidelines change. One minute it’s 1/3 2/3 tuck in the top and balance fitted items with loose items and now it seems to be loose tops with wide legs and 50-50. Not ideal for my petite frame.

You always mention the petite ladies. What about all women who are 5 foot 8 (178 cm) or above - there are a lot of us. Just feel that recently everything is catered to petite audience, tall women being left out feeling inadequate.

I agree. As a taller woman there are never options for me and unless I look at the measurements people never mention if a garment is long enough for 5’8 and over. Very rarely do I actually find items that are floor length, they’re always about a midi length on me.

Trust me the petite ladies have to pay extra to shorten everything that is why she is mentioning us. I feel Arket is rather suited for tall women, given it is a nordic company. So be happy you are tall.

@@newmercies1 I like my height but not when it comes to clothes, you can get clothes tailored if they’re too long but you can’t add on! I would happily pay to shorten items although I could probably do that myself but 95% of clothes don’t fit tall people and there’s nothing we can do about it. There are a few tall ranges now but they’re so so limited and often really frumpy whereas there’s a lot of brands that do petite as standard. I’ve spent my life struggling to find clothes, it really gets you down actually.

@@JoR00ke this exactly! Short people can have things hemmed… we can’t have them stretched out to fit us. Also there’s tons of brands that cater specifically to petite women but there’s not really any that cater to tall. Also shoes never come in our sizes. I always feel like I have to settle for what I find and never actually can get exactly what I wanted. It’s nuts because models are all tall so companies advertise clothes through tall women but they never actually make the clothes that can fit them.

If someone knows how to get Arket clothes shipped to the USA I would love to hear about it. Last year I fell in love with the flat black boots that Lydia wore in several videos. My brother went to Edinburgh and I had them shipped to a friend of his, then my brother brought them back to the US. I can't inconvenience folks every time I see something I love! Has anyone out there been able to solve this problem? I know there are third party shippers but who to use, and what if you need to return?

Wonderful looks from Arket. Do they have stores in London? They don't ship to the U.S. We are traveling soon to England, so it would be nice to stop by one of their stores.
