This is very sad. I have taken Lyft a few times and have had women drivers. I just talk to them about the day or whatever until I get to my destination and I’m out. It’s dangerous out there and it’s never a good idea to have any personal relationships with strangers.

It was dumb to go drinking with this guy that was a complete stranger. That aside, she should be able to have a drink with someone without all that followed. But it isn't the reality in this world. Women should be able to accept a drink from someone in a bar or at a party but they can't unless they have watched it made or opened. They should be able to walk down a street at night or enter a parking garage by themselves but they can't. This is why girls go out and have rules and stay with each other to watch out for each other. Men don't do this because they don't have to.
