Lykins Motorsports Interview With Jay Brown, FE Power LLC

We meet with Jay to talk about his new FE Power cylinder heads.
Keep in mind that I'm an engine builder, not a movie maker. There were some sound feedback issues, but just try your best to overlook those and concentrate on the data coming from Jay.

Brent you did a great job as an interviewer. Not a second went without a word. Jay is definitely passionate about his contributions in FE redevelopments, and every right to be. Those that committed to the project in the beginning will be rewarded for their patients . The price of 6k for that pkg will be hard to beat.

The modeling of those intake and exhaust ports is eye-opening.

Looking at the 2 exhaust port options would seem like a massive 100hp difference. The standard port head is unbelievably good! A 10-15% larger port is intriguing as well.

Great video Guys! Good background on Jay's approach to this head development. I am glad to be a customer for these FE goodies and look forward to my own engine build. I suppose I'll mention that the rockers arms are available in different ratios should the need arise. Also heads CNC'd to accommodate 390's, 428's or 427's. At least that's the plan.

What's the minimum bore required to use this top end kit? I need to know if my F100 will get this or not, joking, but not really.

Man 6k two years ago got all that! That was a deal. That much money for that much hp! Would a stock fe block handle that, actually how much hp and torque can a stock fe block handle? I would love to see one of these engines in a late model mustang, at least a fox, people wouldn’t know what the heck it was, lol. Love to build one for my sn-95! But I’m a broke joke lol. Gonna have sbf.
