the Lady Janine or whatever that first didn't make a deal that Lynette couldn't refuse and she left and then fired Mark should resign ...There are plenty of executives out there..How could you let Lynette go in the first place? 24 years and all she gave of her life on this show..The crash, baby, her mom.And not long after the death of her mom..If you were a sports executive and lost a great player long time veteran you'd be fired..You are easier to replace than the reporters we have grown to love.I tried to watch the show I can't ..It sucks now and the replacements aren't even half as good as Lynette and Mark! You lose Henry and Chris and Megan and I'm not watching any of the news and I loved your news programs... That lady needs to step down . Are all these reporters moving? I hope Mark is well. Mark f'd up. He shouldn't of done what he did. If you really think about it, he acted on feeling and not facts. Even if Lynette was telling him what's up. Those conversation with her and the higher ups are confidential. Him acting like he knew was basically putting her on blast for talking about things with others she shouldn't have. If she was such a good friend she would have taken him with her. She was leaving KTLA and could careless she was leaving Mark behind. He got fired for being stupid. It's why everyone else that sat around that table kept their mouth shut and still have their job because they new he was wrong and talking about things way beyond his pay grade. Lynette has her job, He now has unemployment. When looking for another job they'll ask what you get fired for? Mark Mester "I was talking trash about the people who paid me."

Lynette Romero didn't say good bye, and Mark paid the price. I don't understand why Lynette let Mark lose his job. Kind of selfish - I think. I don't like KNBC, and I am now boycotting KTLA-5, because they don't do any real coverage of our city or investigations. They suck. And their treatment of Lynette and Mark was the last straw. I still won't watch KNBC. Not really impressed with Lynette.

Okay- Romeros daughter goes to San Diego for college, so it was probably leaving the weekends the only time for the daughter to see the mother and dad. So, Romero probably was looking around to get off her weekend duties, so her weekends would be free for being with her child and family now. This is what it seems to me. Mester didn't need to do the thing he did, he had too much to lose. Whoops, he just lost it all, now, don't you think? For standing up for a friend- not a mistreated female.
