Good and powerful conversation there Lyn. My view though is: on the note 350 ladies/10men, am assuming most of these pple are aged btwn 30to 40. Now am aged btwn this age and i give you my honest opinion,men of our age were somehow neglected "sorry to say",as we were growing up,thats when the slogan "A GIRL CHILD CAN DO WHAT A BOY CHILD CAN DO ,IF ALL GIVEN AN EQUAL CHANCE", its true am not disputing but then i feel our parents took it too deep and kind of forgot our brothers. They are supposed to naturally man up without grooming,how now? Somehow feels the boy child is forgotten in our generation, that's 1980s and 1990s generation.

Their are men , who tell their wives to stay at their rural home,while they stay in the city, barely going home,maybe once in six months...Is such a union considered a marriage?
@martharinebiseko14574 ай бұрын
Lazy to type but let me summarise . A certain lady I know lived such a marriage. Worse still the man got another family in town. She remained in the village and tilled the land to get fees for her children. While her last child was winding up univ the husband brought the small step children from the town family. She kept quiet. The man relocated to the village knowing that the bigger children will take care of their mum. She just woke up one day and asked to attend a relatives function in town. Left all her clothing and went to town to start a new life. She had lived a lonely life but stayed to work hard and raise her children. Now hubby wanted her to raise another lady's children. She never returned to the village!

This couple is definitely onto something with the intimacy and sex subject but the subject of submission has been regurgitated for so long and centuries of women submitting under men, they woke up to violence, insecurity, alienation and almost no place to call home in the world with their names on under 10% of Land which is a god given resource that men took ownership of to subdue women further and protect their sexual interests making us perpetual squatters on earth. I like that Ben uses the right term on what it means to submit "reduce yourself," yet if your feet are grounded on reality you know submission is not the answer. It only serves a skewed interest, that of men and their ego interests, not women and children. I understand their focal point which is religious and I would say Gathoni is possibly 'loved' in this context and quite accepting of it considering the age gap and experience its expected. Ill be looking forward to the show hosting successful couples who operate outside of these religious norms, but meanwhile Ben mentoring men outside of the toxic masculinity messages is without a doubt a step forward

My friend ben should understand he doesn't a monopoly in wisdom times have changed and women have changed a lot due to exposure brought about by social media that's the major difference btwn now and when they started dating in 2009, Women now are more combative , arrogant and have unrealistic standards and the only reason they agree to settle for less is the age factor.Its not that men don't want to settle but men are afraid of dating the modern woman.
@nimuyreemu37233 ай бұрын
You have put us all in one bracket..arrogant,combative and with unrealistic standards.Unbracket us first please..then you can do the rest.Clearly it shows who you are.And your mindset. I would also put men in a bracket,but I won't because I know somewhere there's a man who doesn't fit in that bracket.And I am different and my mindset is different. If one brings such a mindset to the dating scene,it's easy to feel that energy and its doomed to fail. CLAP FOR YOUR MINDSET!
