My lynx point, Mona, died last September. She was 20 years, old, I miss her so much. They are such beautiful cats... I always loved the way her pink nose looked like a little heart, surrounded by a black rim and she had the most beautiful eyes. Super athletic and playful until almost the very end of her life. Very affectionate... loved to give kisses and cuddled up with me every night. Just a special girl.

I found my two 3-4 month old kittens not long ago, they were abandoned by the couple who were living with my neighbors. They were malnourished, COVERED in fleas, as well as having worms... I took them in, my family and I took them to the vet the same day; ever since the two have followed me around everywhere I go, they've also helped with gardening and it's adorable. Both are brothers and they go everywhere together, and despite being siblings they have such different personalities and traits. Walley; has a little longer coat, he has a more white coat, as well as an apple headed appearance. He is more calm, a big talker (he chirps in 3's), and he is a little daredevil despite his crossed eyes (has semi-bad vision, we have him on a diet to help). Indy/Indiana; has a shorter, darker tan coat, as well as sharper features. He thinks he is a badass but he gets overwhelmed so much and loves to cuddle, he can't help but feel jelly when his brother is on my lap. I love my boys, and I'm ready to fight for them if those horrible people ever return for them. Edit: we have a 10yo havanese and he has always had a history of chasing cats, but when it came to these two, he pretty much decided to be their step in Uncle. It's amazing how they play together, yes, the kittens play with my dog and Tucker always breaks up play fights that get too serious ❤️❤️❤️

I adopted a 12yo Lynx Point Siamese who was found as a stray so her age is a guess! She seems to have lived a rough life, given she has only her left ear and the shelter said she almost died of liver poisoning. All I can say is she’s the reason I’m so eager to get home from work! Such an amazing cat and if she had a previous owner they definitely have a loss.

I found my Linx point Siamese at our county animal shelter. She’s very playful, smart and a fast learner. Her previous owners didn’t take good care of her-so it’s taking a while for this kitty to warm up to us. She’s only a year old; and she has a full, long life ahead of her.

I had a mixed breed Siamese kitty her name was Bandit Babe. Sadly in 2017 i had to put my little Bandit Babe to sleep due to her bleeding eternally.Mamma misses you so much my sweet little Bandit Babe. Some day we will be reunited in Heaven and I will hold you in my arms once more.

My Daughter found her little kitten, he was starving and had a huge bot maggot in his cheek. He's doing great and 7 months old now. The other cats love him ❤ and so do we too. I'm so glad she found him

I found my lynx point siamese at the local shelter when he was a kitten. He was in a cage with two other kittens. There were a lot of people who wanted him as he sat in the back of the cage staring at everyone who went by and was looking for a kitten. His blue eyes stared at me, and I will never forget the look he gave me. I taught him how to fetch with cat toys. He fetched like a dog, and was a lap sitter. He would spend his nights sleeping on the bed in the corner next to me. When I cooked salmon for dinner he was there and insisted on me giving him a piece of it on a seperate plate. When I had Thanksgiving, and Christmas dinner with company, he would insist on sitting on my lap at the dinner table. I will always have a place in my heart for him, and will never forget him. He was the best cat we ever had in the family, and was very smart. He developed kidney disease, and I had to cut the protein in his diet. He passrd away on December 19, 2023, and was almost 17 years old. On his last day, he came to me to say goodbye before Jesus came and took him. I still have a female lynx point siamese, and a male seal point siamese. Those two are always together, and they act like a married couple. The seal point is rather vocal.

My Siamese cats have always lived well into their 20s. I have one that was called a lynx point Siamese but I’m not sure it is. She is happy and the vet says she’s wonderful at 15 years. I’m expecting another 10 years. They are wonderful cats. Blessings

My lynx point Bell had passed away back in 2020 and there isn't a day that goes by where I don't miss her. She was roughly 16 or 17 years old when she passed away. Was constantly by my side no matter where I was at in the house. Always loved to cuddle with me in my bed. She'd always come upstairs on the weekend and meow over and over until I'd wake up and say her name to which she'd then jump up on my bed and snuggle. It was hard for me when I lost my lil girl as I had her since I was like 3 or 4.

I found Ella in the road day before last Thanksgiving. She was about 4 weeks old and had a broken right leg. She didn't complain and we took her to the vet. She was spayed at 4 months. She is very playful and active but sometimes bites but never hard to break skin. She is not as talkative as a pure Siamese but she can demand attention when she wants it.

We had a seal point Siamese male. Best cat in the world. He lived in my bedroom having full use of the room, and the females lived downstairs. We had a door at the top of the stairs, and the bedroom door separating them. He had a companion, and any left over males after three months old. He was so gentle with his kittens.

I have too lynx points one of them male and one female, there the best cats ever! We rescued the female from the colds pf Arizona on a ranch. She was gonna get killed by coyotes!! But we saved her and now she’s the best cat ever

On July 8th 2016 I got my beautiful Siamese lynx point at the local shelter for $50 when she was 4 years old on July 8th 2022 it will be 6 years that I got her she will be 10 years old and we are still family🥰🐾🌹♥️

I had a stray mixed breed Birman cat (Siamese but with white toe tips>) for many years. He was quite a character. I've never had a lynx (tabby) point Siamese before, but IMHO, pretty much all cats are great. Also never had a solid chocolate brown like aurmese, or a lilac/lavender (dilute brown) cat. -- I am about to be inundated with kittens: A rescue kitten got out before getting neutered and so I have a very pregnant teen mom cat, still a kitten herself, won't be a year old when she gives birth. She's sweet, so I hope she will be a good mom. Hoping for the best.

Our family had one. My sister named him Duo (after Duo Maxwell from Mobile Suit Gundam). We had him for about 12 years. He was about 19 pounds. Absolutely sweetheart. We all cried when he passes. We still do at times

My Lynx Point Siamese was given to me by my neighbor when he had to move to a warmer state for health reason. He couldn't take her with him. She was 2 1/2 yrs to 3 yrs old. I've had her for 14 months. He sent me a picture of her when he first got her, and her body was very light then, but she's a gray color now. She has stripes along the top of her back, and spots along both sides that resemble the markings of a Lynx. The top of her tail and the front sides of her legs have stripes, but the underside of her tail and backs of her legs are solid dark brown...almost black. I don't think she received a lot of attention as a kitten, because she does not like being picked up and will not sit on my lap. She does not play, but loves being scratched. She also loves being brushed. She sheds constantly, and eats like a horse! She's not fat; she's quite small. I feed her Iams dry food for sensitive stomachs. I had her on Purina dry food previously, and she vomited nearly every day. I had gone through that with my previous cat (a Ragdoll, also given to me) who vomited twice every single day. He died 3 years ago shortly after he turned 16. I raised him from a kitten, and he was the most loving, affectionate cat I have ever had. I still miss him. The Iams food works pretty well. She only vomits occasionally. I had purchased a case of Purina canned mixed shreds, fillets, and meaty bits, all in gravy. She only wanted to lick the gravy out, and leave everything else to dry up! I'm giving it to my daughter. She has 4 cats! My Lynx Point is a good cat until she goes into heat. Then she is very, very, bad. She climbs up on the TV counter tops, and all tables, and knocks things off onto the floor. She's like a juvenile delinquent. She doesn't do that when she not in heat. So next month, I'm taking her to the vet, and getting that taken care of. Other than that, she's a good cat. I am a true believer that we don't own cats, they own us. ❤

Also after having 6 cats over the past 20 years my lynks point is the only cat that I have developed allergies to and she sheds very heavily. Just the opposite of what these vidio tell you.

Boy, have you got that wrong about shedding. My lynks point sheds four times as much as my tabby cat does. I have had many cats over the years and this is the only cat I've ever been allergic to.

Lynx point is not a breed though it's a gene that is recessive. The siamese breed has a specific standard that's why not all seal points are siamese; ragdolls, Burmese, etc. can have the point gene. It's just a common misconception and I wished videos such as these wouldn't encourage such misinformation. The point gene is a gorgeous mutation, but at the end of the day that's all it is.

Get a kitten or cat from a shelter or rescue. You'll save a life that way and save money on getting the cat. You are also likely to get an all-around regular cat. Getting a cat from a breeder is expensive. Do that if you want, but why not save a cat from a shelter? They are wonderful cats.

Small feet?? My Abigal had huge feet.. and long legs.. she also had a bump on her head.. not sure if it was an apple or extreme. Beautiful girl. Lost her 2 yrs ago yesterday and today.. im still sick over it..
