My name is Ewan Cunningham, I'm from Falkirk, Scotland. I'm an 18 year old, self taught musician. I started playing drums at the age of 4 and I'm now a multi-instrumentalist playing drums, guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals. I've been teaching myself to mix, record, film, edit and produce music since I was 10 years old and this is my passion.
This is a drum cover of "Simple Man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd from their 1973 album "Pronounced 'Lĕh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd".

I am a big Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, this has got to be one of my favorites! Their whole first album is loaded with some of their best work. Hope you enjoy my cover :-)

I've been playing Simple Man in a Southern rock cover band since 1990, and I have to say that Simple Man has changed a lot since then. I also started with the studio version and today I play more of one of the many live versions. Your cover is drummed so confidently. Hats off. The sound is also excellent. 👍👍🥁🥁

I gotta say drumming is great and the recording sounds amazing i see a couple of shure mics are they sm57 or sm58 and where is the best place to put the mics are there only 2 of them? Trying to mic our drummer and get a great sound as yours

Thanks for the lump in my throat lol my mom used to sing this track to me from vinyl in the early 80s. As a fellow drummer i recommend to work on some Candlebox. Great tempo changes and jazz rock. Arrow is mt favorite track to cover by Candlebox. Btw love the shirt, want one, but the link is inactive :(
