I'm Sorry for your loss Sir. Much respect to you for sharing your emotions with us, watching these guys perform a classic. Im only 34 years old and just lost my soulmate to cancer in June. Even tho I may have spent less amount of time with her, seeing as you're 67, I still feel your pain and my heart goes out to you. Respect to you for keeping her alive in your heart & showing us young guys how to be a good man and showing true emotions is not a sign of weakness. It's shows that the pain we go thru during grief, is the price we pay for loving so strong. Which may be hard, but worth it in the end, I'm sure as you are, we're both thankful to have experienced a love like that! We loved them to the 🌙 and back 🌎!! Hair doesnt matter .. Our band played LS music in the 80's and early 90's, on the same beach ... and we were all in the Marine Corps ... I can still smell the ocean, sand, sweat and coconut oil. I feel the sunburn and hear the crowds even now .... It all disappeared with the Gulf War.. And we became heartless hard asses with deep scars ... So this, is very healing to me. I was born and raised in rural Georgia when Skynyrd was a fledgling road band. They played at a small recreation park near my home. These songs are rooted deep in my DNA. I appreciate you guys doing this. You have no idea what a legacy you are carrying forward. @@lyman135 Thanks. I guess it depends on what circles you travel in. I'm LA born and bred. I have owned a performing arts theatre there that I've had about 23 years, and work in TV/Film. Because it's Hollywood, we get young new actors, dancers, "musicians", writers, directors... off the boat every day from all over the world. Over the last 5 years or so especially there has been a great decrease in the number of "musicians" who play instruments even competently, let alone have them up to any level of mastery. But, there is a shit-ton of "musicians" who use a computer to mix music. Maybe the real musicians aren't coming to LA any more? Anyway, that's why I made the comment. It was refreshing to see these kids.
