This is really it! Just out of curiosity - how are you feeding the TR8 into the Lyra?

Thanks! The Lyra has an external input (it also has CV and gate input, but I'm not using those here. I use them in another video with a Theremin). Anything you feed into the external input gets combined with the lyra's own oscillators and heads to the delay and drive sections.

Is it a steep learning curve with the lyra-8?

I wouldn't say so, no. It's not that hard to get familiar with the basics of it, and to get some nice drone sounds going. It feels quite natural to use. However, be aware that it's very difficult to use as a "standard" synthesizer. It's not meant to operate as such. Also the way the various parameters interact can be quite unusual and unpredictable at times. So you have to be open to exploration!
