In partnership with Literature Wales, we invited 350 children from 12 schools from across Wales to work with Casi Wyn - Bardd Plant Cymru and Connor Allen - Childrens Laureate Wales to explore natural landscapes and learn about our climate challenges through poetry.
The children were invited to their local National Trust site to get inspired by the area’s natural environment, history and legacy whilst imagining what its future might look like. In the classroom, they focused on putting words on paper and composing a poem that shares their relationship with nature, and the effects of climate change on their doorstep.

Mewn partneriaeth â Llenyddiaeth Cymru, gwahoddasom 350 o blant o 12 ysgol o bob rhan o Gymru i weithio gyda Casi Wyn - Bardd Plant Cymru a Connor Allen - Childrens Laureate Wales i archwilio tirweddau naturiol a dysgu am her newid yn yr hinsawdd trwy farddoniaeth.
Gwahoddwyd y plant i'w safle Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol lleol er mwyn iddynt gael eu hysbrydoli gan amgylchedd naturiol yr ardal, yr hanes a'r etifeddiaeth wrth ddychmygu sut fydd ei ddyfodol yn edrych. Yn yr ystafell ddosbarth, canolbwyntiwyd ar roi geiriau ar bapur a chyfansoddi cerdd sy'n rhannu eu perthynas hwy â byd natur, ac effaith newid hinsawdd ar eu stepen drws.
