when recording audio from my behringer ufo202 I always get a 50 Hz peak in the signal (at around -58dB iirc) which I think comes from the behringer picking up RF that's all around. I think yours does aswell, to a similar level. Is that 50Hz peak reduced with this equipment? I guess a shielded housing could already help.

Thinking about it. Is the signal you are referring to with cartridges. Remember the mag cartridges need earth connection . They are prone to hum. You would need to compare it to an external phono amp. I am not sure how that would compare but phono carts are specified around 50db SN ratio.

@@GaryKeepItSimple it's with tapes aswell as phono. But I use the phono amp on the Yamaha now, not the behringer.
