It would be cool to see you collab with a large jet boat/jetski company and put this on a large scale watercraft ❤️

Yea would be cool😁 Though things work very differently at large scale, many principles of my pumps are not applicable.

Hi, can you share some information about the battery you use? I know it is a 6s but don't think I saw any info about runtime vs mah. How many C is needed minimum? and the minimum mah. Do you use one 6s or two 3s in series? two 6s in parallel? Maybe I missed it but can not find info. are there good pictures of the inside when the boat is ready with battery installed? I bought almost the same motor as yours. I have a 3680 1250KV 36L with a flymonster 120 amp boat esc. could you please advice on some battery options vs runtime etc.?
@mjetdevelopment Жыл бұрын
Hi, I used a single graphene Lipo 6s 2600mAh 70C and gives me something over 10 min runtime. Then I swap the battery to run longer. I would not recommend to go any lower with the C rating. I think you can get 10 min runtime with at least 2200mAh battery. The battery choice mainly depends on your hull size. If you build same hull as me, battery size and weight is somewhat limited, it is hard to tell exactly though. 6s 2200-3000 mAh 70C is the ballpark. There is some footage of my electronics setup and placement in the end of the "M-Jet 35 installation" video. It does not show the battery installed though. If you would like more advice, I can share photos if you ask in the M-Jet facebook group, or you can message me on CGTrader. Your motor choice sounds great. ESC amp rating is also good, even though I do not know that brand.

Speaking from experience, I bought the Mjet 30 and it was amazing to build. I actually bought a Ender 3 just to print the drive, it was the first 3d print i ever made. It came out well! I ended up putting it in a 33 inch boat and it flies! I also got the Mjet sprint and have made like....6 of them so far. Top notch stuff. Both of the boats are fast and I got 10 times my monies worth out of them. Check my channel if you want to see them, i haven't posted all the videos yet but there is enough to give you an idea. I will def build the 35, i want it in my 33 inch boat, it should be way too much power for that boat! MUUUHHHHAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! 🤣

will I be able to put on the m jet50 a water cannon from mjet30. 60$ is too expensive for me.

I understand the price point might not be for everyone. Still, I will not underprice my work. How exactly do you mean your question? M-Jet 50 does not exist😀

Question, are there files which I can use for CNC machining the impeller? I dont want to order it.
@mjetdevelopment Жыл бұрын
I don't think it is possible to CNC machine this impeller, because it has very important internal geometry (hollow) which makes it balanced. Additive manufacturing is necessary. Anyway, there is an STL and STEP included for the impeller.
@АнтонПетров-к2ъ2 жыл бұрын
Perfect. how much will it cost approximately
@АнтонПетров-к2ъ2 жыл бұрын
can I make a plastic screw?
@mjetdevelopment2 жыл бұрын
@@АнтонПетров-к2ъ Price will probably be 60$. You can print a plastic impeller, there will be a separate file with thicker blades for it. It will work, even though not nearly as reliably as a metal one.

Could it be a possibility to get shape way's to print for you? Or that I could buy high quality prints from them directly to me? Then you could get your share from them.
@mjetdevelopment2 жыл бұрын
Hi, it is definitely possible to order the printed parts from shapeways. But so far I am not planning to upload my designs there in any way. You can just buy the files from me, and order them printed from shapeways. By the way, I still think if you find a small local company that does FDM 3D printing, it will be much cheaper to order all plastic parts from them than from shapeways. And for the impeller, the cheapest/best option currently seems to be PCBWay SLM aluminum. More info to this will come.
