Highly informative Dr. Saheb. I am 70 years old and insulin dependent diabetic. Now character problem developed. My doctor very famous in Bhilai Chhattisgarh on checking told that it is with gloucoma and in OCT, found swelling in my eye and suggested injection before cataract operation. While taking alternative opinion from specialised ete institute nearby, they told that swelling is on sides and not in centre. Suggested combigan drops for glaucoma. So undergone cataract operation and is perfectly normal. No need for specs for distance. My question is why so much of difference of opinion? You go to 10 different doctors, you will get 10 different opinion.

हमने आपरेशन मोतियाबिन्द का किये 2 month हो गया है । कोंटा आई हॉस्पिटल मे कीया है, डाक्टर जी ने कहा आप इन्जेक्शन लगवाने के लिए कहाँ , पर्दा की जांच मे बताया की पर्दे मे शवलिग बताता, कहा की रेटिना में कहा शुगर के कारण चिपक लहा है ,कहा आप इन्जेक्शन आस्टीन लगाईये। काला पानी भी हे ,, लेजर भी कीया है। आगे क्या करे, हमे उतर का इन्तजार कर रहे हैं

I did surgery of glucoma and catract surgery of left eye. But my vision is effected. And I get white bright light in operated eye. And yellow light in other eye. Always disturbing. . My right eye also got glucoma and catract. Why i am getting bright light in operated. Surgery was done in Mumbai.

Wet AMD injections are only option. PDT laser is also an option, but I dont think its available in India. Maybe at Sankar Netralaya, chennai

@@EyeSurgeonDrSumeetAgrawal thank you sir for your reply ... we went to shankar netralaya chennai and there also they said for anti vgef injections.... but one thing we came across at surat with one of our retina doctor... she said she will send our test reports to the EYLEA medical team in us and if the reports get qualified than we will be getting the EYLEA injection treatment for whole 1 year free of cost .... and she saying EYLEA is very good .. so our confusion is that should we go for such trials of EYLEA injection or not as it seems to be some test trial kindl of things .. so kindly suggest us DOCTOR..

Very difficult to say how many you will need sir. Depends on your diagnosis and stage of disease. For wet AMD we give three loading doses at monthly interval and follow up with 'treat and extend' protocol.
