The name Marlena that you are hearing is not a person, she represents their isnpiration,their muse. The song talks about someone who lost their isnpiration and they call her to return to them beacause without her they are lost. In the videoclip, the inspiration-Marlena of the ballerina is the dance. We see that without dancing she can't do anything and she feels "useless", but when she calls Marlena to return home (Marlena torna a casa) she is alive again. You will hear the name Marlena in many Maneskin's songs and in every song the meaning of her is the same, she represents their inspiration. Omg im so early!!! This song is basically about damiano/the band begging their muse or inspiration (called marlena in this album, its a recurring character) to come back (home) to them, because without them they feel lost and as if they were about to disappear. At the end of the video his eyes go back to being covered and the girl disappears in the tub, because the muse only visits the artist briefly.
