It's really amazing that not even one freaking minute into the video Hickok blows my mind once again with his insane shooting skills... Literally just casually goes to his weak hand (left) and nails the plate 3 times in like 2 seconds. Madness!!

I'm a female and I love my Shield 2.0. Single stack, 7+1 and 8+1 in the box from the factory, and the slim grip is much better for me. Got a great deal on it, too, ~$300 on sale. These are great little handguns. Also good to have the option of a thumb safety or no thumb safety. Thanks for the comparison with the first gen. Love your videos!

The Shield came before the G43 and the 43 can't match it. Shield holds 7+1 and 8+1 from the factory, greater capacity than the 43. Better sights and options of no thumb safety or a thumb safety, factory laser, etc. The thumb safety is the best I've seen--small, flat, unobtrusive, and firm but easy to use--or as Hickok says, not use. No wonder they sell so many Shields! Great price, too--got mine (the 2.0) from PSA for $320 plus shipping.

Bought an SR9C later and the M&P became a paper weight. My sister bought a Shield, and after shooting that and then my SR9C, the Shield has sat idle. It may not be single stack, but the Ruger has the best stock trigger hands down. It's my EDC, has fed everything I've put through it.

Just joined the NRA via your link. I recently bought my first handgun the Tanfoglio Witness Polymer and I love it! But thanks to your review and getting some range time with it, I picked up the M&P Shield M2.0 in 9mm as a CCW carry gun. I felt owning two handguns it’s time I join the NRA and stop being a “closet gun owner” as some say. Hope using your link helped you out and thanks for the great content on your channel!

I'm pretty jealous of the American people, you can easy buy almost any gun (in some places) and a good prices, here in Mexico, Having a legal gun is so expensive, this gun costs $1800 USD used, brands new is near to $2500 USD, it's the same for other guns (We can only own .380 acp or .38 spl as maximum calliber), for brand like Beretta, S&W, Colt. A Ruger LCP used cost $1500 aprox! Also if you can afford it, you can't carry, the only place where you can "have it" is in your home, but if you shot a home intruder inside your home (you can be charged with attempted murder), thats pure BS. If you carry the gun (even from the only store in the country) to your home and a police inspect's you for any reason you can be finned or even charged or jailed. The gov has run a program where if you have a gun and you don't wanna keep it, you can exchange for money (a fraction of the fraction of the real price, I mean, like $30 USD for the Taurus 85 i.e), You go voluntary, but if you refuse the ammount offered the police or the military follows you and after you leave the tent, they "randomly"choose you for a inspection, obviously they know that you have a gun, and fine you. If you carry an illegal calliber, like a .45ACP or an automatic gun they just jail you for minimun 5 years. So American citizens don't let the goverment take your rights to own, carry, buy, guns... Mostrar menos RESPONDER

how much is it for an "illegal" gun? From what I understand guns are illegal in most south american countries and people get all the "good stuff" (fully auto sbrs) when they do get a weapon.

In big citties is almost the same price for a legal gun, btw if you sell me a gun in a .380 or less cal I can register it in the same Army's Store (and the only one) only if the gun has never been shoot. But in some towns or the black market a gun is a little bit cheaper, A guy offered me a 1911 in $20k pesos, $1000USD Approx. In other places here in Mexico, where the druglords and cartels presence are a common things you can find Cheaper guns simi autos and full autos for Like $200 USD for an AK-47, but almost this guns are "Burned" that means that have been used to kill somebody (Search here en KZbin "Autodefensas michoacan" and you could see armed guys with full autos in trucks, just like syria). More kills = more cheaper, thats because if you get caught with one of this you will be charged witha harder penalty in jail (If the police can prove that the gun was used to kill somebody). I get a Derringer .22 for $2000 pesos Aprox 190 USD, I carry with me in case soeone tries rob me with a knife, i mean, vs a guy with an another and better gun I will be doomed, also if the police tries to check me (never happened me before) I can just throw it to a sewer drain.

It absolutely doesn't need any more 'meat.' 5'10" here, normal stature, normal hands, and the Shield fits perfectly. The reason they are so popular is because so many of us waited decades for Glock to make a single stack that DIDN'T have a god-awful wide, and non-ergonomic, grip. The Shields are popular because they fit the normal hand just fine. I took mine to a pistol drills class last month (with extra mags), and there was nothing to complain about.

Went to a gun store here in AZ just to check out physically the Shield 2.0 9mm 2 days ago and as soon as it met my small hand, it was a match made in heaven( it was a dream 2 years in the making)and decided in my mind at that moment to buy it there and then. I was speaking with the owner himself, mentioned I want to do a transfer from Buds as it retail for $324 and that’s when things started going South. He started to lambast Buds for having “amateur’ and “dumb” staff..”they don’t put the paperwork in blah blah blah, that he cannot compete with a big online store with no overhead etc. The final nail was when i asked him if i buy it from him there and now, how much is the price. His response will blow you away. “ I cannot tell you, you have to buy it first and trust me” give you a good price if you get it cash and if on credit, i will charge you with a credit card fee. How much i asked. “ I cannot tell you either” was his response. His transfer fee was $50.00. American Guns and Ammo Mesa, Az 4.9 stars rating.

IRONHEAD 44 you've clearly never shot without hearing protection. It's not that traumatic to your hearing (in the short term) unless your in a small room, and even then you can still hear, it's like being close to the stage at a loud concert.

If the shield is too thin for you, Hogue makes rubberized grips that slide on and they feel absolutely amazing. Totally transforms the feel of the gun and it will stick to your hand! They're only like $15 too. Also, I think it's funny how with the 2.0 they didn't improve the only two things I don't like about my shield. The stiffness of the recoil spring and the fact that the slide stop doesn't function as a release.
